The official Star Wars Twitter account shared a photo from the set of Disney+’s Ahsoka today, confirming that production has begun. The upcoming series stars Rosario Dawson as the beloved Clone Wars and Rebels character after bringing her to live-action in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Check out the photo here:

Well, there’s not a lot to say about this. It’s a chair. I know Disney and Lucasfilm love to do little teases like this for upcoming projects, and I am excited for Ahsoka. Ahsoka Tano is one of my favorite Star Wars characters and probably my very favorite character that didn’t originate from the Original Trilogy.
With that being said, though, this photo doesn’t impact my excitement for the series one way or another. I hope they get Ahsoka right more than they did Boba Fett. I tend to think Filoni won’t mess up his greatest creation after so many successful appearances, and I’m more worried about Obi-Wan Kenobi at this point. Regardless, time will tell.
