Boba Fett Was Supposed to Appear In Mando Season 3

Temuera Morrison appeared at SUPANOVA Comic Con & Gaming convention in Australia and had some choice words about Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian season 3. Check out an excerpt from his comments here:

“Well that Mando guy stole a few chapters of my book. It was painful watching him turn up with some black new lethal sword. And the way he turned up in my Book of Boba, he just destroyed everybody. I’m sure this guy is… ah… ruining my show. But I couldn’t say anything. I’m not the writer, so I have to bear it I guess.”

Morrison also revealed that he was cast in The Mandalorian season 3 but never received the call to start filming. Boba Fett does appear on some of the season’s promotional posters.

I agree with Morrison that Mando stole his show. While I don’t think Din ruined this show, paired with Morrison’s prior statements about his preferred direction for Boba, I agree with what he’s getting at. His show was shanghaied, and the approach it took was bizarre and frustrating. I like Morrison, and I hate that his experience on Boba was so disappointing, and they didn’t give his time in Mando season 3. Season 3 was a mess all-around, and they probably lacked a cohesive vision for it from the start.

But what do you think of Morrison’s comments, either show or anything else? Sound off in the comments!
