Disney World Ends Mask Mandate

Good news, Disney Park fans!

Disney World JUST dropped their mask mandate completely! Disney World updated its website today to reflect that masks are now optional at the Walt Disney World Resort, regardless of vaccination status. Up to this point, masks were still required on Disney Transportation, including the buses, monorails, and Skyliner.

From the WDW site:

Face coverings are optional for Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations, as well as Disney transportation. It is recommended Guests who are not fully vaccinated continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters and on enclosed transportation.

Please note, face coverings are not permitted while experiencing water slides or in the water.

This update is effective immediately.

As of right now, no changes to Disneyland’s mask policy have been announced.
