Former ESPN Sportscaster Allison Williams Hired by The Daily Wire

This morning, The Daily Wire’s editor emeritus, Ben Shapiro, announced on his show that The Daily Wire has signed on former ESPN sportscaster Allison Williams.

Williams was let go from her job at ESPN for resisting the company’s vaccine mandate. She was sidelined from reporting in September, then later revealed she was denied a vaccine exemption and will be leaving the network. 

Here is a statement from Allison Williams after being hired on by The Daily Wire:

I am proud to be a part of a company that fights for our rights and I cannot wait to bring agenda-free sports reporting to the Daily Wire’s members and millions of followers. Leaving ESPN was one of the most difficult decisions of my career, but it was the right thing to do. I respect people who choose to get the COVID-19 vaccine, but it was not the appropriate medical decision for me at this time. No one should be forced to choose between their livelihood and the freedom to make their own health care choices – it is simply un-American.”

This is another huge win against the cancel culture mob. The Daily Wire continues to lead the way by adding incredible freedom fighters to their team, such as Gina Carano (former Dinsey/Star Wars actress) and now Allison Williams.
