Natasha Liu Bordizzo Cast as Sabine Wren

The announcement of a live-action actress for Sabine isn’t much of a surprise. It essentially confirms what we’ve all been suspecting: Ahsoka is the long-awaited Rebels sequel that will follow Ahsoka and Sabine’s quest for Ezra. I continue to be disappointed that this story thread won’t continue in an animated series; I guess this is a way for the producers to rope more viewers in. Regardless, I will be watching Ahsoka, and I’m still looking forward to it. They’ve done a great job with The Mandalorian, Ahsoka is one of my favorite characters, and I’ve been dying to know what happens to Ezra and how Ahsoka finds him. I’m actually not familiar with Natasha Liu Bordizzo, so I don’t know whether she’s a good fit for the role of Sabine. Sabine is one of Rebels‘ most dynamic, interesting charactersand I’m excited to see more of her story. Bordizzo does look the part, so she has that going for her. I think this is a casting where, even more than usual, we’ll simply have to wait and see. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments!
