New Character Creator System Added to Minecraft Beta

Minecraft’s newest update is now allowing the characters to personalize themselves in creative ways that have never been done before. The Minecraft website describes the new Character Creator system. As stated on the website, it will allow the player to change their avatar model in multiple ways, “including body size and shape, limb replacement and tweaking of eyes, mouth, hairstyles, and colours, facial hair and skin tones.”

On top of the abundant changes you can make to your avatar, the changes can also be done in-game now, which is a considerable improvement from the previous skin import system. However, if you are still a fan of importing skins to your Minecraft character the way it has always been done, you will still be able to, with the process to do so described on the site. Like all Minecraft updates, this will be free and accessible to all players. I am excited to see what wacky customizations people come up with for their Minecraft avatar! I think this will add to the creativity of Minecraft and expand the game in a simple but fun way.

What are your thoughts? Do you think you will be using this Character Customization system, or will you stick with the simple skins that can be imported? Let us know in the comments and be sure to stay tuned to Geeks + Gamers for more gaming news!
