RUMOR: Another Upcoming Star Wars Show From Filoni and Favreau?

By way of Production Weekly, Bespin Bulletin is reporting that another Star Wars show may be coming from Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. The show’s working title is Ghost Track 17. They note that Production Weekly isn’t necessarily Gospel, but Daniel RPK also shared on his Patreon that a new show set in Filoni and Favreau’s “Mandoverse” is on the way. 

With so few details and an unsubstantiated report, it’s hard to know what to make of this. Filoni and Favreau are among the few people I trust with Star Wars content, so I tend to think it would be good. But I also don’t want to come down one way or another without more details. We already have shows on the way, like Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew, which remain up in the air quality-wise, though as I said, I imagine they’ll be good. I don’t want this creative team to be over-extended across too many projects, and I hope to see more different stories like Andor. So on that note, I also want to see different creatives behind different shows.
