One of those stories that deserves a remake and effort. Netflix got One Piece right, so good luck with Avatar. I got caught up in reading all about it at one point and it was tremendous reading. Anything that can do that is worth the effort. I still think overall, that they need to keep trying with DUNE. Eventually, I think Son Of The Black Sword is a no-brainer for someone like Netflix or another, because it’s a bit like Avatar, but the lore is more from India. Another one that’s gonna need a remake one day is maybe Wheel of Time. Trying to think of other things that are totally captivating that have never been done well, like D&D. Maybe Robotech. I thought Starship Troopers and Ender’s Game were both done well enough and where do you go after that?
The four nations of the world once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, the first step taken by the firebenders towards conquering the world.
AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, follows a young Air Nomad named Aang, as he reawakens to a world ravaged by war. Together with his newfound friends Sokka and Katara, he embarks on an action-packed quest to take his rightful place as the next AVATAR.
This new live-action reimagining of the award-winning Nickelodeon animated series comes to Netflix in 2024.
Your video production on your channel is getting better. This was a good one.
I kind of avoided this. Heard good things about One Piece from some kids and then, on a Bookworm tube channel, a girl really liked reading it. I still haven’t got into it, but after this video above, I started watching it and yes, it is good. Young people in fantasy cosplay combat action. How fantasy should be really.
It is shot so well that it made me think of other things that were botched like Avatar: Airbender. Also, for no apparent reason, this Netflix One Piece show made me thing of The Dark Is Rising series by Susan Cooper, which is one that I never really go into, but I was impressed with what this One Piece show was able to do in bringing a comic to life.
Last thing, but One Piece kind of, in a small way, reminds me of an old cartoon called The Pirates of Dark Water.
I am sure everyone here knows about the Avatar series. Which was an awesome series in my opinion. But how many have seen the movie based off it? Clearly it would be tough to take that whole series and story and make a movie based off it. But it was done and I believe it was done very well. Sure it only tells part of the story and it is not near as in depth as the series but the story telling is consistent and the acting good.
I very much enjoy this movie and it’s also very kid friendly.
7/10
After many phone calls and Zoom meetings later this is Sonic Freedom’s writers staff
Me-Head writer and Creative Consultant
Shiro Maekawa-Was the writer behind Sonic Adventure 1, 2, and Sonic and the Black Knight
Ian Flynn-Ian has written the Sonic comic’s for almost a decade now and is essentially a walking talking Sonic wiki
Drew Karpyshyn-Wrote my favorite Star Wars novels the Darth Bane trilogy he was also the head writer for both KOTOR and Mass Effect
Alex Hirsch-After working on Disney’s Gravity Falls he decided to work for Netflix on his own show he hasn’t given much detail about his show but he has offered to help me with Sonic Freedom Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino-Created and wrote Avatar the Last Airbender and Korra and despite what some clickbait articles may say there is no bad blood between them and Netflix they were just un happy with the direction of the Avatar live action remake so I decided to hit them up and now they are part of the Sonic Freedom’s writers staff
Greg Weisman-Greg Weisman is an American writer of comic books, animation and novels and a producer of television shows, as well as a voice actor. He is perhaps best known for the animated series Gargoyles, The Spectacular Spider-Man and Young Justice. He was a bit of a pain in the ass to convince but my agent and I managed to do it
1) My favorite show on the streaming platform of Netflix is Disenchantment.
2) My favorite characters from Disenchantment are Luci and Elfo.
3) What I enjoy most about the show is that, of the three Matt Groening animated shows, this is the only one that appears to have a consistent arc that looks to be leading somewhere, unlike The Simpsons or Futurama.
4) I enjoyed The Office from Netflix before they removed it, but I am glad Avatar: The Last Airbender is back on there.
5) They do not have the movie Cuties.
my list could go on forever, but the greatest cartoon series of all time, in my opinion has to be avatar the last airbender, no competition
but some honorable mentions are, teen titans, the proud family, kim posible, the boondocks, ying yang yo, rug rats… as you can see im a 2000’s baby so i never saw too much 90’s stuff outside of the classics. loonytoons, bugs bunny, tom and Jerry
The Robotnik in my series is a lot more cold and cruel compared to the more modern games’ interpretation of “Eggman” and I took a bit of inspiration from Grand Admiral Thrawn and Azula from Avatar the Last Airbender he is a cruel, calculating and heartless dictator he is an expert in robotics, mechanics, and politics and his design is ripped right from the SATAM cartoon
Similar to the SATAM continuity he used to be a war minister for King Acorn until he staged a coup against him and his kingdom
The shows target demographic is older kids and Teenagers between the ages of 9-17. The goal is for the show to appeal to all ages, without condescending to younger viewers (very much like shows such as Steven Universe, Avatar the Last Airbender, Young Justice, Spectacular Spider-Man, and TMNT 2012). The colorful characters and explosive action will draw in younger audiences, while its mature storyline will hold the interest of teenagers and older audiences
Avatar The Last Airbender is an Anime, Change My Mind
Greetings! Allow me to introduce myself:
I’m an Informatics Engineering student, proud member of the Fandom Menace, aspiring artist, aspiring game developer, and most importantly: An aspiring storyteller.
My hobbies include: Drawing, painting, writing, game developing, composing and complaining.
I’ve been a lifelong fan of good storytelling, from Avatar: The Last Airbender to Star Wars and Star Trek, and everything in between, and I am saddened to witness the destruction of those great stories in the hands of fake fans that hijacked geek culture.
I enjoy gaming (but only strategy games and flight simulators since my reflexes are shit) and talking about videogames, as well as most of geek culture, all things Sci-Fi and fantasy, engineering, philosophy, and other intellectual shit…
I’m looking forward to the day when stories are again for everyone, and the crybaby SJW bullies stop tarnishing what came before.

I’m sure there are more but that’s all I can think of at the moment.
Cowboy Bebop is fantastic. And even though Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD can be quite ridiculous and a bit too low-budget for what they attempt to achieve, the writing is usually extremely good and creative.
Some others that I quite like but are more commonly mentioned are Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Peaky Blinders.
Twin Peaks
Better Call Saul
Young Pope
Avatar: The Last Airbender
G.L.O.W.
Ozark
Waco
Maniac
Hello theschnick, this is a great list of television shows that you have here. I do think that Daredevil (Netflix) should be considered in the list of great TV shows. X-men: the Animated Series is another popular show that had a great run. Batman: the Animated Series was a pretty good show that I would recommend. Avatar: The Last Airbender would be the final show that I would recommend to this list. I hope that this list of shows helps add to your list. If you have not seen these shows then check them out when you have the opportunity.
Batman The Animated Series
Avatar the last Airbender
Gargoyles (first two seasons)
SwatKats
Darkwing Duck
Fox’s Peter Pan & the Pirates
