I have missed out on a ton of games but I think Cyberpunk comes in at number 5 on this list.

I always thought that companies going through crunch was due to poor planning.
CD Projekt Red have recently said that they are doing mandatory crunch and it makes me think that crunch has to be done at some point.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that has been worked on for 8 years, how does it need to go through crunch?
If I play a game like Skyrim than I choose male most of the time but on replays I try female, especially in RPG’s (no Skyrim isn’t an RPG) than I go out of my way to play female on replays because some games can give very different interactions and experience.
When Cyberpunk 2077 comes out I’ve already decided to play female on the first playthrough, I think she looks fantastic…uh oh I’m being a misogynist again 😀.
If it’s a story driven game and you play as a female the whole time than who gives a shit, what matters is the story and the character development.

So far, so good. Haven’t heard a single peep of a rumor about the game catering to SJW agendas. Just read an article where the developers explicitly stated that they were creating a work of art, not a political statement. Makes me feel a lot more confident about giving the game a shot. Totally worth the delay if it turns out to be a fantastic game. Used to love the old Shadowrun games. Watching the vids about it, gives me that old Shadowrun vibe.
Anyone else looking forward to it?
The only games left I am looking forward to this year are Ghost of Tsushima and Cyberpunk 2077. You will be able to get them both on PS4, so I don’t think it will be worth getting at release.
With Cyberpunk 2077 hopefully coming out on November the 19th, and the public now given lots of details on how life paths, skills, and progression work. What will your first character in the game look like? Are you going to make yourself a stealthy street kid hacker, a charismatic corpo word wielder, or a LMG wielding tanky nomad? The possibilities seem pretty endless at the moment.
With a katana in the game, a skill that lets you deflect bullets with a sword, and some of the offensive hacking mechanics shown off. I am thinking about making a corpo ninja character. Someone who can hack enemies to give them false audio readings to distract them why I move through the area. If I am seen, I can use the katana.

I thought I’d make a general discussion about any cyberpunk news and what people plan to do once they get it. Once the game releases in November (hopefully no more delays) we can discuss are playthroughs and give tips to each other.
