Only Up Rush Is A Terrifying Game Of Heights, I’m Afraid Of Heights.
Only Up has been on my radar for a while. I have seen some gameplay clips from Dr Disrespect before the fall & I knew what this game would do to me. You see Theo, the thing is, I am deathly afraid of heights. I remember playing Assassin’s Creed & having to climb the towers & leap from them. Even that would get my stomach. Now we have Only Up Rush & man…what a trip. The game was on sale, it looks great so I figured I might as well go for it.
Do I recomend this game? ABSOLUTELY!! It is actually very well made. The graphics & music is very nice & believe it or not, the music is actually tension calming. The gameplay itself is actually very forgiving with pretty big hit boxes so as long as your hands would have connected with the platform, your character will adjust for the rotation to a degree, you do have to be close enough for it to save you.
The character customization is pretty decent with better boob physics than Dragon Age Veilguard as my character will show you. That being said, do I recommend this game for everybody? NO! It took me months of contemplating to finally buy the game & days to finally launch it. Why? Well, because as the title of the video says, I am afraid of heights. Every single fall was felt. Every single hard jump was tense as hell. There is no exaggeration in my stress in this game & I made the camera capture big enough for you to see all my expressions.
I would rate my fear of heights a 7/10 so if you would rate your fear as high or more, maybe don’t pick it up. But if you are adventurous as I am & want to challenge yourself in a controlled & safe environment, then absolutely pick this game up. I also rate the game a solid 8/10 for all the reasons stated above & the creativity of the game. So check it out. Thank you for watching.
Yeah, so I know this won’t be everyone’s taste, but I thought I’d bring it up in case no one else was talking about it. Gate Zero is a sort of open world, exploration type game that takes place in ancient Israel, where you get witness various Biblical events unfold. Basically involves time shenanigans similar to the Assassin’s Creed games, you know you’re there in mind, but you’re body is in chair somewhere. Anyway, beyond just exploration, it also allows you to customize your character, there’s some puzzle and stealth elements in the game, dialogue options even (though I’m not sure how in depth). It’s meant to be family friendly, so probably pretty basic, but I still believe the premise on it could make for a neat game. I’ve always wanted to see a Bible game and for that reason, I hope it gets the funding needed. They have a Kickstarter that ends July 6th (well, 5th midnight, but same deal). They also have a trailer on Youtube and the game itself will be on Steam, with optional multiplayer via Mobile. So yeah, there it is, just thought I’d bring that to ya’lls attention for anyone who might be interested. If not that’s cool, maybe you know someone who is or would be.
Thanks
