Ooo, I also like Ambient World’s music too😍. He usually has some great Harry Potter themed playlists as well as Lord of the Rings ones too. ASMR Weekly is another channel I like that does a lot of Harry Potter themed ones too.
Been binging a lot of anime of late.
‘Kuroko’s Basketball’ is a really good one to watch if you’re into sports or basketball in general (seriously, and I thought Michael Jordon had been good😵). Not crazy about it’s soundtrack but maybe I’m being biased because I’m making too many comparisons to ‘Space Jam’s ‘ iconic film soundtrack😅!
Was also finally able to watch ‘Neon Genesis’ as I like a good mecha-style anime. Can Japan have the rights to do Iron Man please??? I’m pretty sure that they’d do the character more justice than Disney in animated format. Hell, give them everything from the Western world. Would love to see what they’d do to ‘Twilight’ as a anime. They’d probably improve on it a lot. Even give them ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’.

I’ve been meaning to watch that version of ‘A Christmas Carol’ for years at this point. My favourite version of the story is the Mickey Mouse one from the early 80’s Back when Disney was Disney and they weren’t ran by Bob Idiot and Bob Clueless.
Also, I could’ve told you years ago Mr Williams did the score for the first three Harry Potter films 😏. If you listen very closely you can hear bits of the Star Wars score in it. Never noticed that before until a year or so ago.

Only if we happen to run across anything. I never saw this one, despite being a fan of Jim Carrey at one time. More of a fan of Alan Silvestri and the other top composers. Man, do we need more composers. I miss big orchestras and big stage performances. They used to show stuff like that. Now, I wouldn’t even know because commercialism destroyed TV. Just too many mixed unwanted messages that it became more trouble that it was worth, TV programming.
And some Harry Potter. I didn’t even know John Williams made a song called Christmas at Hogwarts.
First, some footage from the Wizarding World, which is a theme park I’ve never been to, but the footage from it looks great.
I know the GnG crew said it was a really good experience going there.
Wasn’t crazy about Michael’s version of Dumbledore compared to Richard’s on the first two Harry Potter films but I grew up with his performances on the later ones. Snape killing Dumbledore is going to be even harder to watch now sadly😢.
Michael Gambon, Dumbledore in Harry Potter films, dead at 82
Veteran actor (Sir) Michael Gambon, who was known to many for his portrayal of Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore in six of the eight Harry Potter films, has died, his publicist said Thursday. He was 82.
A statement by his family, issued by his publicist, said he died following “a bout of pneumonia.”
RIP
Gambon once acknowledged not having read any of J.K. Rowling’s best-selling books, arguing it was safer to follow the script rather than be too influenced by the books. This didn’t prevent him from embodying the spirit of Professor Dumbledore, the powerful wizard who fought against evil to protect his students.
Sadly, too many in hollywoke don’t want to respect the lore/source material, and just blindly follow the script regardless of how it differs from the source, or be called problematic/hard to work with.
But I can’t begrudge him too much, as I have never read the novels either (but I do have them in my personal library).
I adore LEGO video games! The combination of imaginative construction and immersive gameplay is great. Whether it’s exploring Hogwarts in LEGO Harry Potter or protecting the galaxy in LEGO Star Wars, these games provide hours of entertainment for players of all ages.
Wow, this looks hilariously BAD npc-wise😂. Why are they so obsessed with making us women ugly in video games now? I would’ve thought that that was the opposite of empowering🙄. Looks like PS1 graphics😂. I was on ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ on my PS2 today (playing the PS1 version on the PS2). Yes the graphics are horribly outdated but the npcs look SO MUCH BETTER than this🤣
@Salvince
It’s actually the low-sugar stuff that I like such as Pepsi Max and Diet Coke😊. But yeah, I’m more of a Pepsi drinker either way. I do drink low-alcoholic stuff but it’s usually apple cider that I go for. Shepie’s is the one that I usually drink. There’s another low-alcohol apple cider that I drink but it’s got a little bit more alcohol in it but I can’t remember what it’s called😅. I can sort of taste the alcohol in it because I get a bit dizzy even after one sip😂. I don’t want to be playing ‘LEGO Harry Potter’ and having a bad head because of my “low”- alcoholic cider😂!
@vknid absolutely. Hogwarts legacy was tolerable to say the least. Plus I have a fiance’ who loves Harry Potter stuff, so I had to buy it for her B-day and ironically, it PO’d a lot of woke people so it really was a slam dunk against woke crowd even if it went to a woke developer.
I can hold my ideals back if it means I can make my future wife happy and make woke losers miserable. Two wins in my book.
Still, I wish they didn’t put those characters in there, it simply should be about enjoying a game.
Yes they should! It’s because of this that we’re getting needless reboots like the ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Twilight’ franchises (although to be fair, I think ‘Twilight’ could benefit more from a reboot than the other two. It’s one of the few cases in which I think the books were better than the films) as well as the string of Disney live action “remakes” (I’m a Disney fan and even I think they need to STOP WITH THE REMAKES as well as this awful agender that they’re pushing🤬!).
I’d also loved to have seen Mr Bluth direct the Harry Potter films in the late 90’s when they were going to do them in animated format. I think his style of animation would’ve suited it well. Can you imagine how terrifying Voldemort would’ve been under him😨?
The human race is designed to survive via the sacrifice of the parents for the sake of the children. To me, the weeds that choke society all spring from this attitude: “I shouldn’t have to sacrifice myself.”
I see the Harry Potter series as an excellent exposition on that natural principle: many people sacrifice themselves for Harry, from book one to book six, and only in book seven is it Harry’s time to sacrifice himself, and his readiness to do so is his true coming of age.
“Harry Potter” & “Star Wars” Actor Dead at 56
Grant played the role of an Ewok in the Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983), and in the Harry Potter franchise, he played the part of a goblin–specifically in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001). Grant is also credited with work on Jim Henson’s 1986 film Labyrinth, and he was also a stunt performer in Legend (1985), Labyrinth (1986), and Willow (1988).
When did this happen?
On Thursday, March 16, Grant reportedly collapsed outside King’s Cross Station in London and was found unresponsive. According to reports, the actor was declared brain dead at the scene…
And it took them two months to report on this?
the game is pretty woke. I enjoy the game because i like harry potter, but everything you pointed out is true. No one is talking about the game anymore. many people have noticed the game was woke and some feel like they were tricked into buying multiple copies of the game. Attacking fans isnt going to win any points in the debate. and on the forums people just check out if you do. Alot of people are willing to over look a ton, Like bad writing because they like the IP. If you like the books you have to over look JK declaring every single Slytherin evil and untrustworthy in the final book and forcing the entire house out of the battle of hogwarts. However woke the game is, people are going to defend it because it was so hated by the left. Its a 6/10 game at best with a ton of holes in the story, and a lack of real story and content and your choices have no effect on the game until you get to the end, and then its generic ending 1 or 2. the story is long but the side missions are pointless and the main story isnt interesting you kinda just keep playing to see what you unlock next. Its not game of the year, its not really game of the season. the combat is boring, you have three spells that are great and you are forced to keep spells you dont like on your bar to play simon says with the shield color. and why bother with spells, when plants are over powered, unless you max potions. However the game was successful, is getting a tv show, and probably a second one.
Did i have fun? Yes.
Will i play it again? No
Was it worth the price i paid? Not really
Is it woke? yes. it is very woke but, it was still fun.
