Look man, are game communities sometimes silly, extreme or goofy?  Yes, that comes with the territory.  Games are about doing something fun and temporarily removing you from the realities of the world.  No one wants to see the realities of the world apply to gaming as it removes the fun and escapism from it making it pointless.  In in the macro, there are much bigger fish to fry (southern saying) and PS vs. Xbox vs. PC should be nothing more than a brief talking point for entertainment’s sake.

There is nothing wrong with folks disagreeing.  It happens all day every day and it’s a cornerstone of the human experience.  We don’t have to hate or even be angry over it and especially over something as trivial as gaming.

It’s nice you have an opinion, but to say “Playstation is a crap platform and we should all move forward with boycotting to another console” is childish. In fact, the majority of your post sounds like a 10 yr old wrote it. Attacking “PS fanboys” over and over, when you sound like the same thing you are attacking by doing so.

To say PS fanboys are delusional. I could say the exact same thing about the PC Master Race, Nintendo Fanboys, and Xbox Fanboys. There is “toxic” people in ALL platforms.

You claim PS takes advantage of their customers, but so does Microsoft and Nintendo. I would go so far as to say Microsoft is trying to manipulate the entire industry by buying up studios.

You don’t like censorship, no one does. But other companies have had censorship too. Since Sony’s move to California they have adopted some stupid mild censorship, yes, no one likes it. But Nintendo used to be the kings of censorship not long ago. Maybe you don’t recall the blood and gore being removed from Mortal Kombat 2 on Super Nes. I do. But, times change. So will this. There is also the fact that you can buy and play the Japanese or China version of a game and still play it, if you don’t like the censorship for USA. I’ve done it many times.

If PS was a crap platform, it wouldn’t sell so well. It wouldn’t have been so sought after during the shortages and scalping. It at least has games to play and enjoy, I can’t say the same with Xbox this gen. PS has games like Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima (which imo is the best game on any platform), Last of Us, God of War, etc. What is there on Xbox? Nothing. Most of the recent Xbox games were just bad, and released broken. Yes, Starfield is coming out, but I am not buying an entire consoles just for ONE game.

Nintendo lost me LONG ago when the Wii came out, I quit then. My Gamecube was the last Nintnedo product I bought, and I loved the Gamecube. I’m not interested in the same few series over and over. I’m not interested in dated graphics, gimmick controllers and devices, or handheld gaming. Sure, games like the newer Zelda game might be great, but they look like something from 10 years ago. I am not interested in all the social/multiplayer stuff Nintendo does. I like to game alone.

The Xbox One X was a clunky mess. I actually hated the XOneX, mine sets in the closet now next to my PS4 Pro. My PS4, and then PS4 Pro were used nearly daily in contrast. I can now say the same with my PS5. It’s a fantastic console and I continually game on it. My XOneX crashed multiple times just using the Dashboard UI, continually overheated playing Borderlands 3, and was just VERY clunky. It was a frankly bland and unenjoyable console. Nothing like that has ever happened on my PS4 or PS5. The last two gens of Xbox have just not done well. I loved my X360 Elite though, but those days are long gone. So, I am not interested in a X Series X.

I am not a “fanboy” because I like my PS5 or because there is much more to play and enjoy on a PS for me than a Xbox, or a Switch.

I don’t know what you were trying to accomplish with your post, but it comes off as childish and nasty frankly. Maybe try to word things better and not attack an entire fanbase in the process best time.

Yeah, I am past the expiration date. My sister took me to the Backstreet Boys and they were great live. Boy bands are positive music. I’ve always been into that retro and vintage and classic type style, so I do like that music. In fact, one of my favorite bands was Big Bad Voodoo Daddy because of all the swing dancers. I actually was a bit resentful that I didn’t grow up knowing Swing, 2-step and salsa. That is the kind of thing that Hollywood kind of got right is, every now and then, they just had so much style and class and that appealed to me and I perceive that as real culture.

Regarding Separate Ways by Journey, I did like that Daughtry version. A former guitarist for Journey took the lick and riff and made a gospel song of it. He left the rock scene because he said that the secular worship energy of the rock crowd corrupted and destroyed to many of his fellow musicians. Anyway, I actually think this song would fall into the category of No, but I’ll post it anyway. Rock to gospel, which is interesting because a lot of rock actually came from gospel.

Another Simon and Garfunkel song. Cray how influential Paul Simon was. So many good songs. I didn’t really grow up with his music and I like retro and past stuff so much that I never related to my peers. My classmates had no idea who the bands I liked were. Scratching my head and Paul Simon though. An under the radar hit maker.

I usually prefer it when pop goes classical. Some of the classical versions are a dozen times better than the originals, even if I like the original version.

L’Orchestra Cinématique usually does some really good “Epic” versions of stuff. They did a 90’s theme a few years ago. Was a bit sad that they never covered the Spice Girls (would’ve loved to have heard a epic version of ‘Spice Up Your Life’) but at least they did the Backstreet Boys and a few other artists at the time.

It’s even worse when the original song was a ballad and they try to “jazz it up” by making it a dance hit, making it loose all meaning in the progress despite me liking EDM and Trance (although that’s usually the late 90’s, early 2000’s stuff). In some cases it’s not too bad but maybe that’s because I usually hate ballads in general unless they’re sung really well. A lot of modern dance music I’m hearing now seems to be covering what was originally 90’s ballads. I remember a while back hearing some dance remix of ‘I Want It That Way’ (originally by the Backstreet Boys) and as a fan of the Backstreet Boys, I had to switch my radio off for a couple of minutes because the dance remixed version was just horrible.

I have read a number of articles on this topic and almost all were from leftist biased papers. What you are claiming does not even match those.  I read “proud boys” once and it was because a proud boys sticker was found at the school post incident.  The event was not a LGBT demonstration.  It was people from both “sides” coming out either in support of or for against the school boards decision.

If we are to consider ,under any circumstances or on any level, the phrase “Leave little children alone” as anti-lgbt then the “LGBT movement” has a massive problem on it’s hands.

And the issue is that people use pedophilia as an excuse to attack the LGBT community. I see a lot of people using the ”hurr durr if saying leave the children alone to LGBT people makes them mad, then what does it tell about the LGBT people?” argument attempt. It’s the same as saying ”if saying black people are thugs and criminals and they get mad about it, what does it say about black people?”
Or ”if saying leave school children alive and don’t murder them to white people, what does that tell about white people?”.

Have you seen that video he commented on?  It’s pretty much just a bunch of dingdongs fighting at a demonstration that was meant to show disagreement with the school boards decision.  Yet you couch it in such a way that some pro-pride people were having a party when “alt-right freaks” showed up and just began to beat on them because “alt-right”.

There were proud boys members identified. The right wing Antifa.

No one really cares what adults do and I thought that was the goal of the original movement. How we have gotten from that to arguing over the sexualization of children I am not certain. But what I do know is that the absolute majority of people are entirely against introducing sexual concepts of any type to children and the only reason there is any “fight” over that is because the radical left frames that as “anti-gay”.

Pretty sure if this happened when I was at secondary school we’d also be laughing at this. The boys especially would be laughing. You did something stupid the boys wouldn’t let you forget it in a hurry. Never liked them back then since I got bullied by some of them (not for doing something stupid btw) but I’ve respect as to what they’d probably think of this crap now.

Bearded man smashes women’s weightlifting record held by trans lifter

Avi Silverberg, the head coach for Team Canada Powerlifting for more than 10 years, entered last weekend’s Heroes Classic tournament in Lethbridge, Alberta, after identifying as a female.

That was all it took.

Video shared by athlete activist group the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) shows him walking up to the platform still fully bearded and wearing a regular men’s singlet.

He then casually bench-pressed nearly 167kg — beating the current Alberta women’s record by almost 45kg.

The current record — 124kg pounds — is held by trans athlete Anne Andres, who was seen watching Silverberg while volunteering at the event.

Andres also holds the Alberta women’s record for the dead lift, at 245kg.

So all the talk about “just have the females train more” is all BS.

ICONS said Silverberg “mocked the discriminatory (Canadian Powerlifting Union) policy” that allows competitors to register for events under their “gender identity and expression, rather than their sex or gender,” vowing “no consequences” for doing so.

Hey, he followed the policy.  He “gender identified” for the event as FEMALE.

How many others will do that as well, if it means they can win (at all costs) and FCUK the true victims (biological females, their families and their sport) for organizations that are BIGOTS and allow for unfairness in female sports.

And if you want to be more “fair” why don’t you… in your own words;

…detailing how most schools aren’t providing equitable funding for their men’s and women’s programs, are short-changing women athletes on scholarship money and are manipulating numbers to make it look as if they’re complying with Title IX, and how the federal government is doing little to stop it.

And can you do that by also including how much money sponsorship and TV rights those schools get via male and female sports programs, and ask if which is being short changed and which is being over paid for?
