Spider-Man Noir Show in the Works at Amazon

A Variety exclusive has revealed that a Spider-Man Noir series is in development at Amazon Prime. This show will follow an older hero in the 1930s. Oren Uziel is writing and producing the show, having created it with Spider-Verse writers Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Unlike those films, this series will be live-action.

I only know this character from Nicolas Cage’s rendition in Into the Spider-Verse, so I don’t have super-strong feelings about him. I’m interested in the concept mainly because of Lord and Miller’s involvement; they haven’t done anything I haven’t liked except for Solo, and I hardly blame them for that.
