The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Leaked!

A couple of months after Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, the Mandalorian season 3 trailer shown at the event has leaked online. As promised, we get to see Babu Frik, everyone’s favorite Rise of Skywalker character. I’m not even being sarcastic. The trailer shows glimpses of Bo-Katan, the Armorer in action, and of course, Grogu and his dad. Check out the clip here:

Wow, even in this crappy handheld quality, this trailer looks great. There’s nothing about season 3 that doesn’t excite me. The Clone Wars/Rebels fan in me has been waiting since season 1 to see what’s up on Mandalore, and we’re about to find out. I’ve been waiting forever for Bo-Katan Kryze’s dark deeds to come back and bite her in the ass, and if she fights Din Djarin, I don’t see her winning. I like Bo-Katan as a character, but she’s not a good person, and I think Favreau and Filoni are about to address that in a big way. The only thing I’m not happy to see is the sequel tie-in crap. Why is Babu Frik in this? Why do we need an explanation for the red-helmeted Sith troopers from The Last Jedi? Regardless, though, I’m still hopeful this season will be fantastic, and for better or worse, we knew the sequel garbage was coming.

What did you think of the trailer? Are you excited to visit Mandalore? Let us know in the comments!

This is basically the ONLY good Star Wars being made, and it’s only because of Dave and John. Kenobi was a let down, Boba Fett was a let down too. And I’m betting all the other shows coming out will be as well, unless Dave and John get heavily involved to guide them. And… what is this “sequel” you speak of? There is no sequel to the 6 Star Wars movies. Which begs the question, are you feeling OK? ;)

I agree with you about Kenobi and Boba Fett. I have high hopes for Ahsoka and cautious hopes for The Acolyte and some of the other new shows. You’re right; I must have been imagining sequels.
