So I remember this movie in 2003.  I want to say it was somewhat mocked and part of that was the Elektra connection and that movie was mega mocked. But I just rewatched it. It’s actually pretty good.  Awesome?  No.  But good.  The actors do a pretty good job and with Michael Clark Duncan and Ben Affleck you have some well known folks.  The sound track is awesome actually and the fight scenes pretty good.  It’s worth watching especially compared to the garbage put out today.

The Directors Cut is the best version, I honestly have always liked this movie (The Directors Cut anyway).

Fans say DD can always be counted on for good writing. They have done so much with the character. In this movie, I really liked the way they showed his sonar ability to have kind of a 3-D map of the surroundings. Almost like he sees like a top aerospace jet stealth fighter. The movie was very well done. That being said, the Netflix adaptation of DD with Charlie Cox was good, too. Such an unlikely hero that delivers consistent quality substance in cinema. A blind man who sees in sonar like a bat or dolphin. I really liked the effects in it. Also, the big guy, Duncan, in retrospect, made a great Kingpin.
