Any Thoughts on The Vale of Wales webcomic?

    Hello, all!

I just recently joined Geeks + Gamers and I’ve been wondering if I could ask something about my webcomic.

Starting August 2019, I started a webcomic inspired by Welsh mythology, folklore, and fairytales called The Vale of Wales; about a teen girl who, after a lifetime of being haunted by the Fae of Wales, discovers a Faerie Island off the coast of Glamorgan, and subsequently begins to piece together truths about her family’s experiences with magic and the Faeries of Annwn, all while avoiding the grasp of a lake monster called an Afanc. It’s an amalgamation of themes, characters, and main ideas presented in Welsh literature, from the epic myths of King Arthur and Queen Rhiannon, to their sweet bedtime stories about Queen Mabb and her faerie meetings.

I’m currently in Chapter 9, and my art has definitely changed since the Prologue (my line art has looked much clearer lately & my shading looks less flat now that I’ve learned some tips and tricks in Krita), but since Geeks + Gamers is a good place for comic readers to come ‘round, I’m wondering if anyone would be willing to read The Vale of Wales, and give me some honest thoughts. It’s currently on tumblr at vowcomic.tumblr.com & on my public Twitter at twitter.com/VixenComix, so if those places are not your cup of tea, I won’t hold it against you if you choose not to critique. And no one is required to; I just thought I’d ask 😊
