I knew you would be impressed. I am sure they have been “out-of-print” for ages now.

Curious, have you been looking both online and at your local used book store?

Personally, garage sales I have never found a novel worth buying, and only the odd time at a book-drive sale.

But for older ones, I tend to like the used-bookstores, as I can see the item close up.

Eh, never been much of a used bookstore guy.

Early on when I was building my library, while I was in Florida as a kid for the summer, I did hit up a used bookstore and got a bunch of Forgotten Realms books, but I honestly never read them. They just sat there, never even cracked them as I realized I wasn’t interested in those particular stories. They eventually ended up lost in FL in another box along with my lost EU books, all my Dragonlance books, part of my Sword of Truth series, and all my Dritzz books and and another dozen. That was the last time I ever went to used bookstores for books. I think that left an imprint on me to not just buy books cuz they were inexpensive, and at the same time, as I got older, I got an idea in my head about being the first to own a copy of a book I was sure I wanted to read.

I dont know that Ive ever seen those sets in a single volume hardbound. Hell of a find.

On page 2 Raos mentioned the wheel of time in paperback.

Those were some of the best books Ive ever seen; bound so poorly that unless you have a hardbound copy they fell apart before the end of the first reading. Been rereading them again the last few weeks. In book 13 now.

Still debating on the found “lost EU novel- Heart of the Jedi”.

My trust in novels being shipped without folds in the cover or spine is not high.

I keep my novels, and treat them respectfully so that it still looks brand new even after a read.
