Ok, i keep aquariums and several being saltwater… Ive been watching online coral auctions for some time, but it seems people have just got dumber and dumber. When you see an item for auction use your brain and go to the website and look at the value on it vs the auction site… If the store front sells an item at 10.00 plus 29.99 shipping why the hell would you bid something to 50+ plus 40 shipping on ebay.

So i went peeking at other auctions, toys comics etc people are to stupid it seems to take 30 seconds and go to the sellers actual web-site and buy it their cheaper…

Anyone else seeing this trend in pure stupid

Impulse buying. They see it, they want it NOW! They get caught up in the whole “bidding process”. etc.

Doing research to find the best price.

Too difficult!

Oh, the only time I will buy the more expensive one is if I am wanting to support a “local” business, or I am boycotting a certain store, then I will go get it elsewhere.

No its not new, but sure seems like its getting worse the last few weeks. maybe taxes or stimy check stupidity.

I buy a lot of old 40k figures that are long since out of production by Games Workshop on eBay and I’ve noticed quite a few listings that describe something as “Rare OOP” (Out Of Production) when I know it isn’t. I’m always tempted to ask them what the difference between their £20+ figure is and the brand new one I can get from GW for less than £10 is.
