Parler banned me.
I set up an account, then needed to change my email address; there’s no means to do that in Parler account settings. So my only posts (“parleys”) were to @ParlerSupport asking for help changing my email address. After several days of being ignored, I finally asked them to delete my account. That too was being ignored, so I asked again. A couple days later they direct-messaged me asking what help I needed. I explained that I had been asking for help changing my email address but got discouraged with no response to the couple of requests I had left, so that is why I asked for my account to be deleted. I thought they might actually address the email-change request at that point, now that I finally had their attention. But no.
A few days later, when I logged in, there was a message that “This user has been banned”. First time I’ve ever been banned from anything in my life.
Incidentally, @ParlerSupport has a tip jar icon, and the more money one gives them, the more “influence” they can buy. I didn’t tip them, which might or might not have “influenced” their response (or rather, lack of response) to my requests for help.
