Biden Administration Ignoring Religious Persecution in Nigeria

Early on Sunday morning last week, armed assailants breached the rectory of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in the northern state of Niger. They shot the pastor, Fr. Isaac Achi, in the chest and set fire to the building with his remains still inside. They also shot another priest, Fr. Collins Omeh, as he fled the scene.

This event, though horrifying, is not a strange one to the people of Nigeria. The International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law, an investigative group headquartered in the southern state of Anambra, reported that more than 3,400 Christians were killed in the West African nation in the first 200 days of 2021.

And yet the legacy media and the biden admin is quiet, why?

The richest, most populous nation in Africa is plagued by the twofold problems of Salafi jihadism—the largely religious component of persecution—and so-called banditry—the ethnopolitical component.

Oh, so long as it is Christians being killed and persecuted, then they will remain quiet.

Being silent is violent, because it allows more dangerous voices to be amplified in our place.

And many black lives has died because of this silence about such religious atrocities.

And this silence is also domestic!

Attacks against Catholic churches approach 300 incidents since May 2020: report

Since May 2020, there have been nearly 300 attacks against U.S. Catholic churches as far afield as Emmonak, Alaska, with the most recent tally at 275 as of Sunday, according to a tracker from CatholicVote.

And the biden admin and legacy media is mostly silent on such violence.

The attacks against churches include arson, broken windows, decapitated statues and satanic graffiti. Some 118 incidents were logged since the May 2022 …

Were are the HATE CRIMES against those lawbreakers?

That report’s authors attributed the rise in attacks to “a collapse in societal reverence and respect for houses of worship and religion — in this case, churches and Christianity.”

Yet any attack against muslim or jewish places of worship would be front page news.

“The FBI works closely with our law enforcement partners to investigate threats and attacks against houses of worship,” the FBI told Fox News Digital in a statement. “Frequently, these investigations are conducted jointly by the FBI and state and local law enforcement and are prosecuted under state statutes.”

“If an investigation determines that a suspect violated one of the federal hate crime statutes, then the FBI will coordinate our investigation with the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, which will make the final determination about whether or not the suspect would be charged and prosecuted with a federal hate crime,” the FBI continued.

And yet, were are the prosecutions?  The convictions?

Christian places of worship seems to be open season for bigots and HATE groups to target.

From a high level I believe this, and I could be wrong but it’s what I think at this point in my life.

Those who are the generals in the “elite”, that being those who want and push social engineering like the WEF.  They want to control the world.  They dislike Christianity as it preaches self reliance and personal responsibility and overall don’t want any religion beyond the state (like they do in China).

The leftist foot soldiers hate Christianity because it preaches self reliance and personal responsibility and places restrictions and or limitations on what is moral.

The generals will use the hatred of the foot soldiers to attack, distort and infiltrate the Churches.

My point being, you have A LOT of “force” against religion in general and Christianity specifically.

It doesn’t fit their narrative that’s why they’re ignoring it.
