@NienNub24 exactly. It frustrates me how Russia viciously attacked Ukraine and is causing the biggest western war since WW2 and quite frankly I think Biden has done a good job here. Joining the west on sanctions to Russia and anyone who support Russia to squeeze their economical state to make them give up and supporting Ukraine by giving them weapons and other aid, basically helping as much as possible without putting american soldiers on the ground because THAT could escalate things a lot.

Ukraine is not a NATO country so the US are not forced to deploy soldiers, but they could if they wanted to. But Biden wants to avoid nuclear at all costs which is why he is not doing it. And then we have these genius Trump drones who have little to no clue what is actually going on and manages to turn Russia’s desire to expand their territory once again to their never ending political left vs right dick swinging contest in America how Biden is on some comspiracy group to create a nuclear war.

I already said on another thread how I was not surprised at all that Jeremy (who should just stick the complaining about identity politics in geek culture since he obviously lacks knowledge and interest in what’s going on in Ukraine) made a video about Russia and Ukraine and managed to drag in identity politics and leftist lunatics into the conversation.

I do agree that sanctions are unfair towards the people who are innocent but under the conrol of propaganda. But something needs to be done to shake up the whole society. No one can interfere with their military since it could escalate to way worse. Assasinating Putin for example is extremely hard and could only cause the brainwashed people to want revenge. The sanctions is a way to slowly tighten the noose around the necks of Putin and the elites since they will not be able to finance their military and war anymore and none of them want their money to burn away.

This should cause the people to wonder why their money can’t buy food anymore and why products are disappearing from grocery store shelves and they demand answers. Russia needs a complete structural purge, something that not only stops this war but purges the structure with the future in mind. As long as Putin and his yes men are in charge, nothing will change even if they pull out from Ukraine. And I do believe Putin’s generation of rulers is the last one fantasizing about the great Soviet Union communism and their ”glory days”, as those who came after that generation has gotten the taste of western democracy and economy that is actually growing for once, until Putin decided to sweep the carpet under their feet and go to war, bringing them back to the days of Soviet misery.

Basically I agree that it’s a shame Russian citizens need to suffer, but I think it is a fair trade to have Russian citizens geting poorer for the greater good instead of having Ukrainian citizens blown to pieces.

Unless you have served, Unless you have kids who are serving, Unless you have buried your kids or their friends or brothers in arms who served, then shut your cockholsters with the talk of Nuclear War. Make NO mistake, if NATO in any way takes a military action it will not be world war 3. It will be Thermonuclear Global destruction.  Russia has the same agreement with China we have with NATO so to attack Russia is an attack on China.

As to Sanctions, they need to be placed on ANY and ALL Countries who commit crimes against Humanity. That can be from a unjust war <any war unprovoked> to interment camps and human rights abuses. Anyone that understands History will know that if the people suffer enough they will remove those doing the oppression. The problem is Sanctions only work if it a total embargo on all things from the country is imposed. No nation has done that in this case.

You might not like that Sanctions hurt the common people, but it is those common people who have to be the ones to remove the oppressors. It might take a long time to do it though, Ukraine will fall. Those sanction need to stay in place and actually be a full embargo and expulsion from the UN Security Counsel permanent group.  The Cold war is hot again, it was never off.

I will leave you with this…. Peace only comes through Strength and men willing to fight and die to have peace for the future generations. The current “allied” world leaders are very weak people who only look out for themselves. That is how Wars always start and look what we have.
