Physical media is way better.  However, due to the fact that certain anime has been around for a while, the quality and certain other factors pertaining to said anime when it was released back then if you seriously are that dedicated and take it freaking seriously (and I know for a fact that such individuals exist because I’ve seen proof of that)…to be brutally honest…time can cause said anime to suffer.  Like I’m not kidding.  How the anime that you remember was treated back then to now…(a good example would be GitS – Ghost in the Shell [anime show NOT movie mind you]) can really affect how you watch it.  To add to it, seriously check out the negative reviews on Amazon (NOT the positive because they are usually hogwash nonsense), because the negative ones if you really can spot them have more truth to them.

However, that being said, I have gotten certain anime movies on Blu-Ray.  A couple of special editions that I’ll bring up on my next reply to this thread.

I got Attack on Titan season 2 in DVD with Spanish Subtitles. As for most Anime I mostly watch them on Netflix, YouTube, and the Internet that’s it.

Fairy Tail is a good purchase. Ended well, and 100 Years Quest is fun so far.

Attack on Titan….I’m sorry, but that entire series is a dumpster fire after the big time skip. I stopped reading it a year ago because I was just so pissed off after every chapter, which meant I wasn’t about to go back and rewatch the anime. I wouldn’t spend any money on that show until you see the ending.

Blood C….most disappointing part of that franchise. If you are going to buy any Blood, get Blood+. Much better.

Honestly, I never buy any series until it’s finished, because half the time they drop the ball with endings and then it’s totally ruined forever on rewatchability.
