    172 Windsor, Ont., hospital staff suspended without pay for not getting COVID-19 shots

    About 172 staff members at Windsor, Ont. hospitals have been suspended without pay for not getting their COVID-19 shots by the deadlines set out by their employers.

    Yep, the purge has begun here in Canada.

    WRH confirmed in a news release that 96 per cent of its employees are fully vaccinated, but as of Wednesday, 140 employees had not complied, with 84 of them considered clinical staff. The staff who have not complied are now also placed on a two-week unpaid leave.

    An official at HDGH confirmed the hospital has a 96 per cent vaccination rate. However, as of Wednesday morning, 32 employees have been suspended without pay.

    And how long will that last?

    The suspended employees at HDGH have until Oct. 6 to get their first vaccinations. If they fail to do so, they will face “termination with cause,” according to a representative.

    “Termination with cause”?  What a load of 💩!

    Staff at WRH have until Oct. 7 to do the same or face termination, or have their privileges suspended.

    And at a time when hospitals and clinics are short staffed and chronic fatigue syndrome is setting in, and they WANT to FIRE people who are objecting to getting the jab.

    So why can’t those people be transfer to those “call-a-nurse” hot-lines (which can be done remotely), and move those people who are jabbed off the phones and into the hospitals/clinics?

    But I guess this is not good enough as those making those mandates want 100% NPCs/lemmings.  Say jump – they reply how high!

    New York hospitals brace for mass staff shortages as vaccine deadline looms

    Maxine Carrington, the personnel chief for Northwell Health, said she has had personal conversations with each member who is not vaccinated in order to try to increase vaccinations.

    “I’ve had personal conversations with team members, and I was asked by one: ‘Are you really going to fire us on the 27th?’ And I said, let’s put that aside for a minute and let’s talk about saving your life. Why don’t you want to get vaccinated?” Carrington said.

    And yet, the reasons for NOT getting the jab is never talked about nor addressed.

    It is always “for the best you get it”.

    The REFUSE to address the reasons people WON’T get the jab.

    As if repeating the same message that has been rejected will change a person’s mind.

    With an increase in employer vaccine mandates around the country, layoffs for employees who refuse to get vaccinated will continue in industries that have already been struggling with a workers shortage.

    And the whole “it is now approved (rubber stamped), and it is mandated” blackmail, and medical professionals still REFUSE to get the jab.

    Think of the patients?  Think of your (soon to be) former employees?

    Well, if you don’t want all those trained professionals working when they are needed most, then STOP with the blackmailing, and fight back against this unjust mandate.

    “What is looming for Monday is completely avoidable and there’s no excuses,” she added.

    This IS a situation the mandates ARE creating.

    Making a labour shortage even worse.

    NY Weighs Using the National Guard to Replace Unvaccinated Health Care Workers

    Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York is considering calling in the National Guard and recruiting medical professionals from other states to cover looming staff shortages at hospitals and other facilities as the likelihood grows that tens of thousands of health care workers will not meet the state’s deadlines for mandated vaccinations.

    Other states are going to be in the same bind, with health care worker shortages.

    …the governor’s office said Ms. Hochul was laying plans for an executive order to declare a state of emergency that would “allow qualified health care professionals licensed in other states or countries, recent graduates, retired and formerly practicing health care professionals to practice in New York State.”

    As if those people were not already called upon when the pandemic first hit hard.

    Other options, the statement said, included calling in medically trained National Guard members to deliver care and to work with the federal government to deploy Disaster Medical Assistance Teams, which are operated by the Department for Health and Human Services.

    As if those people will want to do that.  Being exploited.

    State vaccination figures show that, as of Wednesday, 16 percent of the state’s roughly 450,000 hospital workers, or about 70,000, were not fully vaccinated. The data show that 15 percent of staff at skilled nursing facilities and 14 percent of workers at adult care facilities are also not fully vaccinated, representing another 25,000 or so workers.

    So you are looking at possible having to cover just under 100,000 trained health care professionals overnight! ! !

    As if they just grow on trees, and can be plucked when needed!

    “This is a paradox, in that in trying to protect the residents and staff you don’t have enough people to provide the services and you could put people in jeopardy,” …

    As if the facts and truths matter to these elites bureaucrats.

    Dozens of Massachusetts troopers resign over vaccine mandate

    Dozens of state troopers in Massachusetts have resigned as a result of the state’s COVID-19 vaccination mandate, a key union said Monday.

    State Police Association President Michael Cherven made the announcement in a statement, adding that some troopers had intentions of moving to departments that offered “reasonable alternatives such as mask wearing and regular testing.”

    Which, it appears, was NEVER offered/allowed for those troopers.

    Cherven added that the State Police were “critically short staffed.”

    About 20 percent of State Police employees are not vaccinated, the union’s attorney…

    So how is losing 20% of your fully trained workforce going to help the citizens of Massachusetts?

    It isn’t!

    Hopefully, these people can find jobs that suits their training/expertise in a place where accommodations can be had.

    Louisiana health system to charge employees with unvaccinated spouses a monthly premium of $200

    Louisiana’s largest health system is ratcheting up pressure to get vaccinated against Covid-19.

    Ochsner Health told employees it will charge them a monthly premium of $200 if a spouse or domestic partner covered under an Ochsner health plan is not vaccinated…

    So now they are attacking people in your household ! ? !

    The Covid vaccine fee for spouses will begin in 2022 and could deduct up to $2,400 yearly from the employee’s paycheck. The fee is only for domestic partners or spouses, not other dependents such as children who are covered by the employee’s health insurance and are eligible for vaccination, according to a letter Ochsner leaders sent to employees.

    For now.  That will change once children are allowed to get the jab.  Then I can see them wanting $200/month per dependent as well!

    Thomas said the surcharge isn’t a mandate because spouses and partners can choose other insurance coverage, and because they can also apply for a medical or religious exemption.

    Oh, you don’t like to be jabbed, well you can always get a job elsewhere too.  Oh yay, I forgot to tell you, you CAN’T get it in your field of expertise.

    I hear companies are looking for drivers to deliver goods to households.

    In reality, they cannot legally fire you but some are firing people. It violates the constitution among other things. So, they cannot do it but they are doing it. Employers should not fire people for not getting Covid Vaccines which are killing people. Employers are complicit to murder, genocide, etc.

    There are differences between laws and mandates for example. They lie to us all the time about many things. They say for example that we have to have a curfew, that we have to wear masks, get killer Covid Vaccines which are NOT vaccines, that we have to social distance, that we have to have Vaccine Passports installed on our phones, that we have to track and trace, that we have to have the Chinese Social Credit Score System, and the list goes on and on.

    FBI raids New York City police union office

    It was not immediately clear why the FBI targeted the SBA (Sergeants Benevolent Association), which represents 13,000 members of the New York City Police Department and is the fifth-biggest police union in the country.

    Could it be because they want to find out who got the jab, and who didn’t?

    (SBA’s outspoken leader, Ed) Mullins, who has run the union since 2002, could not immediately be reached for comment. But he has frequently clashed with both the NYPD leadership and de Blasio.

    Oh, so is this another example of the extremely toxic far alt-left attacking someone who disagrees with their draconian regime.

     

    With law enforcement vilified by the left, the left’s propaganda machine (the legacy media), and their continued calls to defund the police, this action I am not surprised with.

    Kaiser Permanente suspends 2,200 employees who have not yet gotten the COVID-19 vaccine

    Kaiser Permanent … the health care company … California-based company … has had to place, as of October 4, just over 2,200 employees on unpaid leave for failing to comply with the requirement (forced/mandated jab), a spokesperson said.

    That is 2,200 more health care employees that the industry needs but decided they want to do without!

    They have until December 1 to change their mind and get the vaccine.

    “We hope none of our employees will choose to leave their jobs rather than be vaccinated, but we won’t know with certainty until then,” Marc Brown, a spokesperson for the company, said in a statement.

    Correction!  They are not choosing to leave their jobs.  You and your mandates are going to terminate their employment because they won’t get the jab.

    There is a big difference!  So stop trying to blame them for making an educated decision to NOT get the jab.

    Members of a union representing around 24,000 health care professionals at Kaiser Permanente have voted to authorize a strike in a dispute over wages…

    Just when the healthcare industry is being hit hard, add a possible strike…

    According to United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals, 96% of those who took part in the online vote elected to approve a strike.

    Looks like a clear mandate.  So what is this all about?

    At issue is the company’s offer of an annual raise of 1% for current employees, plus an additional 1% annual bonus for the next three years. Accounting for inflation, that could be considered an offer of stagnant wages – or a pay cut. As of August 2021, the price of consumer goods had risen 5.3% from the year before. The Federal Reserve typically aims for a 2% rate of inflation.

    Undermining your most valuable assets.  And with the increased pressure from the WH on inflation creating policies, 1% is a slap in the face.

    Kaiser Permanente is also proposing that new hires be paid using a different – and lower – pay scale than existing workers, a “two-tier” system that critics say would give the company a financial incentive to push out older employees.

    Stating the obvious!

    (the company) saying it must find a way to cut costs in order to remain competitive.

    Why not start with wages of those in management?  Why not try to reduce the prices of drugs and overhead?

    Nope!  It is always the frontline workers’ wages that are the problem.

    Longtime News Anchor Fired for Not Getting COVID Shot After Doctor Told Him Not to

    Texas news anchor Dan Thomas was recently fired from his position for not getting vaccinated against COVID-19 despite having a medical exemption.

    WTF!

    Thomas, who worked as the evening anchor at KXII, a CBS and Fox affiliate in Sherman, Texas since 2014, was told by his doctor earlier this month that he can’t take the shots because he is allergic to two of the ingredients in the COVID vaccine. But, despite this medical exemption, he was fired.

    Fired for get the exemption from a drug he is allergic too?  He needs to SUE!

    Thomas said that he filled out the paperwork that the company provided for COVID vaccine mandate exemptions and received a “generic” response several days later stating that his request for accommodation was turned down.

    “They didn’t care what the vaccine did to me or its side effects or my past medical history,” Thomas said in a video he posted on October 6. “None of that mattered. They just said it would be an undue hardship to the company to have me employed there.”

    And here comes the excuses.

    Undue hardship to the company.  Boo hoo hoo.

    “Dan has an allergy to two of the ingredients in the shots and his doctor advised him not to take the vaccine,” his father wrote on the fundraiser page. “The owner of KXII, Gray Television, acknowledges that he has a basis for an accommodation but they fired him anyway, saying unvaccinated people in his position pose an undue hardship.”

    So in other words, No JAB = No Job.

    You not a card holding marxist/communist/dem./etc… no job!

    Maine can bar religious exemptions to COVID-19 vaccine mandate, judge rules

    A U.S. judge ruled on Wednesday that Maine can bar religious exemptions to its requirement that healthcare workers in the state get vaccinated against COVID-19…

    Attack against religion continues.

    U.S. District Judge Jon Levy in Bangor, Maine, said the healthcare workers who brought the case have not been prevented from staying true to their religious beliefs, although refusing the vaccine will cost them their jobs.

    WTF?

    “All Maine healthcare workers have the legal right to request reasonable accommodation for their sincerely held religious beliefs and forcing COVID shots without exemptions is unlawful,” said Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal advocacy group that represented the workers.

    The state IS the only religion.  If they say get the jab, you get the jab.  If they tell you to jump, you jump, etc.

    Maine removed religious exemptions from mandated vaccines in 2019 and voters overwhelming rejected a referendum challenging the law last year. As a result, the COVID-19 vaccine mandate is consistent with state law and does not single out religion, Levy said.

    Removing the exemption is an attack on ALL religions!

    By comparison, he said New York’s mandate originally allowed religious exemptions and then removed them as the deadline neared.

    Bait and switch.

    By removing the exemptions, you ARE attacking the religious.

    Up to half of Chicago police officers face unpaid leave over vaccine dispute

    Up to half of Chicago’s rank-and-file police officers could be placed on unpaid leave because of a dispute between their union and Mayor Lori Lightfoot over a city requirement for officers to disclose their vaccine status.

    What a Nazi Lightfoot is.

    At least 120 officers in San Francisco will be off the street after failing to comply with the city’s vaccine mandate…

    Eighty of the 120 police officers work in the department’s patrol division, San Francisco Police Officers Association vice president Tracy McCray said.

    That will surly make the streets of Chicago safer.

    “I’ve made my status very clear as far as the vaccine, but I do not believe the city has the authority to mandate that to anybody, let alone that information about your medical history and change the terms of employment so to speak on the fly,” said John Catanzara, president of the local Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) lodge.

    But they are the elites.  That is all the authority they need.

    “If we suspect the numbers are true and we get a large number of our members who stand firm on their beliefs that this is an overreach, and they’re not going to supply the information in the portal or submit to testing, then it’s safe to say the city of Chicago will have a police force at 50% or less for this weekend coming up,” Catanzara said. “That is not because of the FOP, that is 100% because of the mayor’s unwillingness to budge from her hard line. So whatever happens because of the manpower issue, that falls at the mayor’s doorstep.”

    Well, Lightfoot is part of the defund the police movement, IIRC.  So this having half the force removed from the payroll is part of that attack on law and order.
