There was news a few weeks back that YouTube was getting out of the original scripted series business and had no interest in keeping Cobra Kai after season 3. Sony is shopping the show around and the top contenders are Netflix and Hulu. A deal with one appears to be close but obviously a lot of negotiations are involved.
This means sometime soon Cobra Kai will leave YouTube Premium for the new platform. The show’s third season will debut on that platform most likely “By the end of Summer.”
I’m hoping the show lands on Netflix as it by far has the widest reach. You can imagine the good it will do as more people to encounter a show that is focused on telling a great story rather than advancing some SJW agenda.
