It’s just crazy how weirdo influencers on social media seriously tries to promote being fat as a good thing

@Captain_Cronos I don’t know, I think there’s a way to be healthy, enjoy your life and live a long time. We just need to have accurate information provided.

I agree, it doesn’t mean you have to shame a fat person to death, but telling them you can be healthy at any size is pretty ridiculous.

https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/ryan-crowley-chest-pec-bench-press-181312420.html I didn’t watch it, but some beefcake meathead tore a pectoral muscle lifting an insane amount of weight. I’ve met some incredibly strong guys, but if one is getting a hernia or another injury, it’s being done WRONG! This is why I prefer the smooth fitness people like a Floyd Mayweather or Roger Federer. The suave cardio style I like more now than the huge muscles, especially, when we now know the big muscles come from steroids and testosterone hormones.

I’m thinking of clearing and dusting off my bench, I was happy when I had that routine but I’m not gonna run into it like I did before.

Don’t be like a tramp on chips, steady away!

That is the difference between body-builders (muscle mass) over a toned muscle (professional athletes -ie. soccer)

I think a lot of the problem is moderation. Eating smaller portions. It’s why obesity is such a problem in the USA. I work in health care, I know.

Then you have the fact that people set in cubicles at work all day, and then go home and set in front of the TV all night.

Go to Japan. See how many fat people you see. Not many. They are active. They walk, they eat better.

My father has lifted and competed his whole life. He has so many physical problems because of it now. Surgeries to correct it. I saw what it did to him. The problem is people take exercise TOO FAR. Your body isn’t meant to do all that crap all the time. You aren’t meant to be like Mr Olympia, its not natural, and no…it’s NOT healthy.

Do cardio, ride your bike, do some small weight lifting, push ups, set ups, and stuff like Yoga, etc. THAT is what you need.

And no, smoking or “lighting up” something is NOT healthy. Period. You will “live longer” partly based on your GENETICS, not your over-all physical health.

Gain 75lbs and make your heart have to beat harder because of it, because for every 20 lbs more you weigh, your heart has to work harder. You won’t live longer doing that.

Lower the weight up the reps.

The bench press / squats bar weighs 45#. put 2 x 10# plates on the bar and do 3 sets of 10. Once the final set doesnt burn like hell you know its time to increase the weight. This could be a few sessions this could be quite a few sessions. Eventually it will do the job and you will lose weight too.

The new stations where the bar is captive and on rails make it easy for one bar to be set up for a lot of excersizes.

I usually like to keep my reps at 20 and increase the weight when I feel confident enough with my strength. That’s how I’ve been doing it for about seven years now, though I haven’t been working out as much compared to high school. I had a major surgery after I graduated, and now I’m just making sure I don’t get too weak.

I had 2 ACLs before I was 20. On the same leg. destroyed the other knee in 14.

The year of forced inactivity because the retarded fuck called Nuisance locked the gyms killed my knees. Im back to square 1.
