While I never was a fan of him as a Warcraft player since his beginnings, I was shocked to hear that he died over… a few tweets.
Granted he may have been mentally unstable but this is insanely sad.
Basically tweeted his ex he wanted to marry her cause she’s the one he wanna be with. This social media trend has got to a point where people feel the need to share anything personal. Which led to some backlash saying, it’s not the place to ask this among some other hateful comments. While I agree with the first group he somehow got overwhelm and I suspect he was already deep into depression… he simply ended his life due to fucking tweets.
Again, never been a fan but I find this incredibly sad and pointless to kill yourself at such an age. He had money, crazy big appartment with empty rooms, I suspect he felt very lonely as he tweeted that he had 3 empty rooms and was looking for “friends” to come so the home could be more lively.
All in all, truly sad and a proof that social media if you have no self control and confidence, can destroy you. Add to that the censorships and you got the perfect recipe for massive shit coming to the people with weaknesses.
