Dictionary redefining man/woman to appease one’s fantasy/rejecting reality

Consider the statement “Pete Buttigieg is a gay man.” You probably think you know what it means: Pete Buttigieg is an adult male human being who is sexually attracted to other adult male human beings.
That is correct.
It could be “Pete Buttigieg is an adult male human being who is attracted to female human beings who identify as male.” Or “Pete Buttigieg is an adult female human being who identifies as male and is attracted to other adult male human beings.” Or “Pete Buttigieg is an adult female human being who identifies as male and is attracted to other female human beings who identify as male.”
WTF? Is this the sh!t we have come down to?
This is what happens to language and logic when you reject what’s demonstrably true in favor of what a sympathetic group of people wishes were true. You start out with good intentions but end up not being able to say clearly what you mean.
Considering those same libtards are unable to define what a woman is, this changing of meanings to their ever “I feel like…” BS!
The terms should be straightforward: A “man” is an adult male human being; a “woman” is an adult female human being. So, too, “male” and female” have clear definitions.
But in order to digress into the woke agenda, we cannot have clear definitions.
They’re sexual classifications. There are only two sexual classifications, and even in those vanishingly rare instances where observable anatomy isn’t determinative, a person’s genome will reveal his or her sex with 100% accuracy.
Oh NO! Facts! Science! Provable medical! stop!
That’s why dictionaries are now battlegrounds.
Since they already LOST the public, this agenda is being forced upon our youth, our students, and the publishers of definitions.
Here’s another proposition to consider: “One characteristic of mammals is that only the female of the species can give birth.” True or false?
If it’s false, a lot of textbooks need revising. But of course it’s not false. If you take it as written, without words blurring into their antonyms, it’s obviously true. If you’re sane and honest, you know only female mammals give birth.
Oh NO! More facts! More Science truths! The woke Libtard NPCs cannot handle reality!
It tells you something has gone haywire with the intellectual life of our culture.
It is easier to control the masses if they are dumbed down, uneducated, and are indoctrinated to accept what they are being funneled without question.
December 15, 2022 at 1:41 pm #289386Ya, they have all been completely redone to essentially say “what a person identifies as, not what they were born as” . It’s ridiculous, wrong, and people need to STAND UP to this trash.
They keep pushing the “what is acceptable” line further and further into insanity and no one does anything about it. I want to be very clear. This is all being ALLOWED to happen. It could be stopped and shut down, but it seems people are not willing to do that, clearly. We don’t HAVE to be where we are now, but it is allowed to happen. So, here we are. Fear has captured the masses into submission. Fear of being cancelled. That’s really why people aren’t standing up in droves.

It’s even worse that they’re trying to target people like me who aren’t interested in romantic relationships (sorry boys😂!) as “queer”. Yes sometimes we crush on fictional characters (who doesn’t😅?) but we’re just not interested in romantic relationships in general mostly because we don’t want the drama that comes with it.
December 16, 2022 at 4:34 am #289435I don’t understand how the same ideology gets away with “supporting women’s rights” while simultaneously erasing women entirely. This is a tactic to destroy the nuclear family and to nullify creation as God would have us see it (male and female).
As a man who generally keeps to himself, I find the Biblical version of women to be the correct one. Yeah so men can do some things better than a woman, but this does not diminish the things women can do better than men or the thing that a man cannot do at all which is a gift from God and that is to be able to create life.
You know, people always point out this part of the Bible (and others) as an anecdote to call the Bible antiquated and as a claim that it diminishes women.
“But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.”
But few point out the parts where women are cherished and uplifted because it does not fit their narrative. AND let’s not forget the absolute special place Mary has in Catholicism and other parts of Christianity.
“In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.”

Sorry ,I got preachy there, but as a father of a daughter what is being done to and against women infuriates me to no end.

Sure, it would be nice to have someone, but I gave up even trying after all this time. I am 48, too old to put effort into looking to be honest, partly because of how things are now days and how people are in the dating world now. It’s all car salesmen selling a product, not being UP FRONT about who they really are and what they really want. I tried ALL the dating sites, and it’s all garbage. I also do NOT want kids, and I don’t want anyone else’s kids. I don’t do drugs or smoke and do NOT want that around. I am VERY much into metal, goth, sci-fi, anime, and Japanese culture. How many are like that at 48? Not many. Also, I will NOT put up with any PC SJW pronoun wokeism in my home. Not allowed here. Period. So, put all those together and not much of the dating pool left for me. lol. I work a week straight of 10 hr shifts on nights and then a week off, in that rotation. Do you think I want ANY drama and bullshit on my week off after that? NO! At this point I am used to being alone and just accept that my waifu probably got hit by a car before I found her. lol.

Yes, the Bible is a fountain of knowledge. Sure, you can pick just the stuff from it to adhere to want you want but that is not at all the point. I am big on context and often people will select verses without understanding what was going on or why it was being said. But overall, I personally see it as the manual for life.

Person with extra hole.
Menstruating person.
Breast feeder.
These are IMO aspects of being a female/woman.
But a woman also goes into Menopause, so being called a Menstruating person even a year earlier, and now you are a different gender/identity all because some sickos hate the word woman and female so much.
