Oh there are other ways to video-chat… Last I would use is FB…. But must admit its hilarious watching the other platforms and the amount of three-ply tinfoil going on….. My personal conspiracy theory is this…. My first real day off in almost 3 months so it went down to keep me on task of catching up on movie watching and yard work.

Facebook banned me on Sunday. One day later, Facebook goes down. Facebook is probably down for the following reasons:

First, Facebook tries very hard to keep breaking news from spreading like wild fire, this happens regardless of whether Facebook is down. Sometimes, Facebook has been down regionally or to some extent. This may be the biggest blackout of Facebook these past 15 years since Facebook started in 2004.

Second, Facebook is probably updating their systems, servers, hardware, software, clouds, terms of service, policies, etc.

Third, Facebook might be going around removing data off their sites, banning accounts, etc.

Fourth, Facebook may have been attacked, maybe people were trying to crash Facebook. I would believe it is highly improbable that you could take down Facebook globally since Facebook is not a centralized website. Facebook has different servers, systems, websites, in different countries, regions, around the world. So, taking down Facebook would require taking down each separate network that hosts Facebook. From the outside looking in, the user uses the app or types in Facebook.com and yet Facebook is not that simple. So, Facebook may have crashed locally, regionally. Perhaps they are using the crash as a cover story, an excuse, a reason, for turning it off worldwide. On Twitter, some allegedly reported that Facebook staff are unable to log into backend of Facebook. If that is true, then that could mean Facebook is not down for maintenance or perhaps Facebook is running on some computers where only some of the staff have access to the backend but only in certain places or via the right access (the proper URL, IP addresses, ports, etc, whatever that is needed for accessing backend aspects of Facebook).

Number five, perhaps Facebook and others are testing out Internet kill-switches, etc.

Number six, perhaps this Facebook Crash Story is meant to steal the spotlight from the new Project Veritas video which is dropping tonight at 08:00 PM.

And number seven, perhaps Facebook whistle blowers, insiders, some staff, etc, were involved in taking down Facebook from the inside out.

My conclusion is any combination of these seven theories may be at play right now either completely or partly.

I logged into Facebook a minute ago with no problem via another account. But then when I tried logging in with this other other account, Facebook said it was down. So, then I went back to that first account I mentioned and was able to log in with no problem. This means Facebook will lie and say they are down for maintenance when they are clearly not down for maintenance.

Facebook Crashes Globally After Mainstream Media Heralds Alleged ‘Whistleblower’

The shutdown comes after a former Facebook product manager turned “whistleblower” leaked tens of thousands of internal documents published in a blockbuster series of reports published by The Wall Street Journal.

Facebook executives admit in the internal memos that Zuckerberg “hobbled” America to get vaccinated, facilitates human trafficking and that the company’s subsidiary, Instagram, is harmful to teenagers among the trove of damning information leaked.

However, the whistleblower, 37-year old data scientist Frances Haugen who led Facebook’s Civic Integrity and Misinformation Group starting in 2019, was the chief censor on the social media platform ahead of the rigged 2020 election.

Unlike whistleblowers who have previously exposed big tech, Haugen is conspicuously being championed by the mainstream media.

While the latest leaked memos confirms complaints repeatedly leveled against Facebook, the latest expose is suspected to be psy-op contrived by Facebook to conglomerate more power with the help of the federal government.

Facebook executives “see people are leaving Facebook. They’re going to GETTR, they’re going to Telegram. They’re going to all these other places. They’re sharing Rumble,” Human Event’s Jack Posobeic told Steve Bannon on Monday. “She was the head censor on FB during the election of 2020. Yet she is going to come out and act like she’s a whistleblower? No.

Haugen is controlled opposition, Posobeic warns.

“She’s realizing the only way to do this is with legislative action. They want the government to step in and they are going to use brute force,” he said. “They are going to say the only way to fix this, of course, is going to be government action for the ‘greater good.

“Think of any of the whistleblowers who have come forward from Facebook, Google, Pinterest, from Project Veritas – those are the real whistleblowers – the people who lose their jobs, get lawsuits, get ruined. There are guys behind bars. Real whistleblowers don’t get thrown on 60-Minutes. This is an operation.”

        OK, check it out.
Commenters are saying she’s a shill and this whole thing is a false flag to be used as an EXCUSE for MORE censorship and less Free speech.
They say internet freedom has been going Downhill for the last 11 years.
This is the “official story,” but it is a psyop.

With Instagram down, the mental state of teenagers has never been better.

Also I love how the corporate press is talking about how Mark Zuckerberg’s net worth went down $7 billion as a result of this whole fiasco as if I care

        #243069

They are saying this blackout has cost FB over $60 Millions in lost ad revenue for the few hours it was been down.

As for the mental state of teenagers….

I would say during the blackout, the withdrawal would have caused a nervous breakdown on those attention deprived teens.  LOL

Never underestimate their ability to say or do ANYTHING they have to as to hold onto power/money.

Where you or I consider how our actions affect others these people have zero concept of that.

The elite class (politicians/media etc) can NEVER be trusted. Just because they say “oh it’s the truth THIS time because it fits with your own agenda” means nothing.

And the left-wing conspiracy nuts are having a field day!

            Facebook’s outage isn’t just disruptive — it’s alarming

Facebook, Instragram and WhatsApp all went down on Monday, another major setback for Facebook, as it deals with Senate hearings on child safety, a high-profile whistleblower and ongoing antitrust disputes.

So this monopolistic extreme alt-left agenda platform was down.  And what are the leftists calling for?

The U.S. must invest more in internet infrastructure and support policies that help create a stronger global internet.

Gotta spread that toxic far-left agenda/massage.

What else are they calling for?

While there’s no evidence yet that the Facebook outage was caused by a malicious cyberattack, the widespread internet outage shows us how fragile our internet ecosystem is. And it proves once again why the U.S. must invest more in internet infrastructure and support policies that help create a stronger global internet for the future.

But they are going to use it to make the government spend Billions on internet security

It’s important to note, though, that sometimes companies do not announce the full details of a cyberattack while an investigation is ongoing. Regardless of whether the Facebook shutdown was caused by mistake or malice, it is disturbing that the temporary shutdown of one single company was able to affect so much of the internet.

Hence why it is TOO big, to centralized.  This is showing exactly why having everything run by one corporation is so BAD for the internet.

What does other articles have to say?

Zuckerberg Loses $6 Billion in Hours as Facebook Plunges

Mark Zuckerberg’s personal wealth has fallen by more than $6 billion in a few hours…

When all you wealth is tied up in one stock, when something happens negatively, expect a hit.

On Sept. 13, the Wall Street Journal began publishing a series of stories based on a cache of internal documents, revealing that Facebook knew about a wide range of problems with its products — such as Instagram’s harm to teenage girls’ mental health and misinformation about the Jan. 6 Capitol riots — while downplaying the issues in public. The reports have drawn the attention of government officials…

Knew about but placed profits above fixing it.

            What else?

Zuckerberg’s apologies have been a staple of Facebook scandals. Now, the company offers defiance.

…the company has deployed a slate of executives to mount a public defense while quibbling with the details of allegations from Frances Haugen, the former project manager who left Facebook with tens of thousands of documents. Those documents detail the company’s research into how it spreads hate, incites violence, and, through its Instagram subsidiary, contributes to teenage girls’ negative body images and suicidal thoughts.

We heard all the stories of how on Jan.6, Trump called on everyone to go home, etc. but instead FB cut off Trump, and incited the violence… all to get hits/likes, etc.

“When our work is being mischaracterized, we’re not going to apologize; we’re going to defend our record,” said Facebook spokesman Tucker Bounds.

On how you actively censor so many people, how free speech is NOT a policy they uphold, and how terrorists can use your platform(s) to spread their hate.

Haugen (the whistle blower) revealed evidence that a change in the formula Facebook uses to direct content to a user’s news feed resulted in the belief among European political parties that they had to adopt more extreme stances to reach audiences on Facebook.

She has also argued that the company’s algorithms have the effect of surfacing extreme content that entices users to click more — and generate more profit for the company — despite evidence that such tactics intensify partisan feelings and distort democratic political debate.

They are NOT a neutral corporation.  They actively suppress opinions, and will only allow their message/agenda to get out.  And I heard that many employees at FB think they have not censored enough nor have they gone left enough.

On Monday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said President Biden supports “fundamental reforms” after the news reports detailing Haugen’s claims. “This is just the latest in a series of revelations about social media platforms that make clear that self-regulation is not working,” Psaki said.

OH look, another buzz word!  And once again NOTHING will be done about it.

(FB in 2017)…accompanied by a major initiative to invest resources in combating harms such as fake news and disinformation, hiring thousands of researchers and content moderators and creating a new forensic division that pursued bad actors, including foreign governments, seeking to manipulate public opinion on its service.

And we have seen how dishonest their fact checkers have been, and how they spread misinformation of the fake and debunked russian dossier and almost everything they said about Trump, how they covered up for clinton, biden, and the dems, etc.

            So what is the solution?

Facebook outage shows why it needs internet sovereignty

Russian social networks reported a spike in activity during Monday’s global Facebook outage which Moscow officials said showed that Russia was right to develop its own sovereign internet platforms and social networks.

Too much power/control corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.  That is the curse of being a monopolistic entity – which is what FB has become.

Facebook blamed its outage, which kept its 3.5 billion users from accessing services such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, on a faulty configuration change.

It shows how easily one small error can effect so many people across platforms and nations.

So if it was a faulty code, or a cyber attack, it only reinforces how the internet was created to be decentralized, so if one part went down, they could still communicate.

This is a lesson everyone should look at when we have corporations like FB.

They are trying to central a system that was never meant to be centralized.

So just like in the past when a corporation because too big and is crushing competition and is itself a threat, it needs to be broken apart.

This not only needs to happen, but the industry must get more regulated, as it has been shown, they CAN’T self-regulate.  They whistle-blower’s information PROVES that.
