Game Boy

I got a Game Boy when I was in elementary school in the early 90’s, it was the standard one in a bundle with Tetris and Super Mario Land, eventually (years later) my brother dropped it and broke the screen, so on my next birhday I got a silver Game Boy Pocket, which I still have but on the left side of the screen like 3 vertical lines of pixels are not showing anymore.

I own 37 Game Boy and 17 Game Boy Color games, never had a GBC though.

I have a few gameboys, as I show in my profile page, I was using emulation but then there is nothing like playing a good old game on proper hardware. Okay, I made it much more pleasant by putting in a couple of new screens here and there, I have a IPS in my GBA and also my pocket and the freckleshack in my color.

I still got my original from 1989.

My very first game system was a hand-me-down, slate grey Gameboy Pocket from a friend. The games that I had for it were

– The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX

– Pokemon Red

– Pokemon Yellow

– Super Mario Land: Six Golden Coins

After that, I got another second-hand handheld in a Gameboy Color and added:

– The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

– The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons

– Pokemon Gold

– Pokemon Silver

– Pokemon Crystal

– Dragon Warrior III

I really love Super Mario Land 2.I own the game. It one of the best Mario game for gameboy .
