Yay, with the two hub-cities of Edmonton and Toronto.
If the playoffs are not cancelled for an outbreak, the awarding of the Stanley Cup by October and then starting up a few weeks later for the 2020-21 season.
I have not heard what the 2020-21 schedule will look like, and how late they expect next year’s Stanley Cup will be.
I sure expect alot of tired teams by the time next year’s playoffs begin.
And now that things are starting to open up here in Canada we could get a second wave like the States. If that happens we might not get sports at all for awhile. Its going to be interesting the next month or two. I dont think its going to work.
Chances are the season next year, if it happens, will be a shortened season, similar to how lockout seasons were previously. That way, the schedule can finish about the usual dates it does on normal years so the off season is in its usual spot. That’s probably my best guess.
