Episode Boring, worse Season  7 of GOT reborn for most  of the episode and season 8 showed its ugly head at the ending.

I will simply make this short. 55 plus minutes of filler and absolute boorishness.  The king is dead and we see Alicent playing against her Father to get control of Aegon.  I was worried when this episode came along if the actors who play Otto and Alicent could pull it off and the answer is NO…. They are boorish and unbelievable in a situation where the gravity of the situation should be massive, I was bored!

Even what might have been a decent part of it with Criston and Aemond I found only “meh” at best. This episode was for 55 minutes nothing but filler and boring doing nothing.

But worse the last few minutes was pure Season Fucking 8 stupidity. The throne had been Usurped, Aegon was crowned and up from the Floor came Princess Rhaenys on her dragon, seeing this and nothing to stop her from killing the Usurper and  his allies her dragon screams at them, fucking screams. This is just absolute horrible writing and show running! She with one word could have ended it all right then and there.

What many were worried about, FILLER AND BAD STORY has happened.

My rating is a SEASON 8 FUCK OFF SHOW of (1). Way to go from season 4 to season 8 overnight!

I scanned though Nerdrotic’s post episode review and it’s like the panelists were hesitant to come flat out and say the episode was crap even though they knew it was a turd. That was disappointing.

As with all my reviews I have watched it last night, went to bed and rewatched this morning. It is crap period. I still need to watch Gary’s stream but honestly I am more interested in Jed’s “Hollywood scholars” as he and I have been close on most of it but way off on our opinions of Alicent and Otto.

Where the hell was any sense of urgancy or emotions from her or Otto, shit a good send off to Paddy even. I had more emotion killing a mosquito that just bit me then was shown in this episode.

I loved it, the ending was fantastic, and have loved every single episode so far.

This was not filler imo. This was showing you the aftermath of the king dying and the things people are scrambling to do. The coming of future conflict is set up in this episode.
