Currently, Viz Media dubs aren’t very accessible. Like I pretty much had to watch pirated versions of the Naruto dub before I got board of all the filler interrupted the final arc that lasted several seasons. You know what I’m talking about Narubros. The Epic Tree Battle! I think the manga is the best way to digest the story but that’s just my bias. The point is Viz is probably Funimations biggest competitor yet all there content is scattered all over the place. Maybe the publishing arm of the compony is more important then the media distribution. I think Warner via a partnership could maybe help get anime fans onto HBO Max and give them some edge in the streaming wars. I watch alot of anime on Crunchy but the app is very unstable.
