God doesn’t grade on a curve. It’s pass/fail, and we’ve all failed. All have sinned, and come short of God’s glory, come short of God’s standards.
And Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
In one of Jesus’ parables, he tells about two men praying. One was a Pharisee, and his prayer was little more than him bragging about his own goodness. The other man was a tax collector, and all he could do was ask for God’s mercy for a sinful man like himself. Jesus ended by saying that this tax collector went away justified, while the Pharisee did not, because the man who exalts himself like the Pharisee did will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself like the tax collector did will be exalted. You may find this parable in Luke 8:9-14.
There is a place for pointing out sins. For example, those who support and defend abortion are supporting and defending murder, and murder is sin. Those who support and defend the woke sexual agenda are supporting and defending sexual immorality, and all forms of sexual immorality are sins. But pride is also sin, and to point at others as if their sins make my sins insignificant is pride, and I am sinning. Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and I am the greatest of sinners, and I cannot forget that.
