Ok… look, i honestly don’t care what roles Kit wants or doesn’t want to take, he has the right to pick and choose, yes, there’s some SJW comments of his i don’t agree with, but again, free to think whatever you want
One thing he says in the article Josiah’s reading here though really caught my attention, not because of how stereotipicly SJW it is, but ’cause i found it pretty relatable
Kit: “I asked for a Mighty Max and she (mom) bought me a Polly Pocket. I asked for an Action Man and I got a doll”
😏 Let me tell you a story, forget about gender stereotypes, gender fluid, and all that shit
I’m a woman, when i was a kid i was a bit, ok a lot, of a tom-boy, heck, i still am like that, point is, i liked action figures, and cars, and slime, ecc, not to say i didn’t like girly toys, i loved tiny cute animals like Littlest Pet Shop, and i actually did like dolls, i just preffered the other stuff. One toy i always wanted as a kid was the super stretch Mr. Fantastic
C’mon, that is f***ing cool! Yup, never got it, instead i got an endless amount of Barbie dolls, look, this isn’t about boys toys vs girls toys, i can make the same argument with 2 girls toys, i always wanted a Ken doll, but no, 30 plus Barbies, of wich there’s like 5 wich i really like!
My point, saying “No, this toy is for boys/girls” or “Let’s be progressive, here’s a toy that’s for the opposite gender”, those are just f***ing excuses, i don’t know Kit and his mom, so i don’t know how they think, but truth is, some parents are mean and they like to spite their kids, and withholding the one toy they beg for every christmas is a way to make a kid suffer
