Looks like Disney is back at it with Rotten Tomatoes

nowadays we can’t trust mainstream entertainment rating websites like IMDb and rotten tomatoes, not only they’re paid by big corp companies, there are also bots and paid reviewers messing it up… then they blame trolls if even with all that paid stuff they can’t hide the truth. Usually, only in the first 24h we can see real ratings, then they start hiding it. But this time they were already prepared.

Remember when they ditched a bunch of reviews then suddenly Rise of Skywalker went up to 86% and then never budged from that number?

I think that woman is being VERY ignorant😡🙄. There’ve been MANY successful and likable films done by female directors. Patty Jenkins with the first ‘Wonder Woman’ film anyone? The lady who directed ‘Clueless’ (I can’t remember her name😳) and loosely based it on Jane Austen’s ‘Emma’ because she had loved the book as a teenager and the film became a major success and even had a TV series spin-off???

@DragonLady I don’t recall Penny Marshall ever pulling the woman card.

Also, I looked it up. Clueless. Amy Heckerling. Quite a resume that includes Fast Times At Ridgemont High and Look Who’s Talking among a bunch of others that I heard of. Never even heard this director’s name. Sounds like she cares more about quality movie making than name recognition.

Never go to RT.  Stuff like your post is why. It’s a fake news site imo. There has been a vast amount of proof, just like your post shows. Rise of Palatine had the same thing happen. Frozen score, an impossibility.

I only go to box office mojo to see how much am movie cost and or made. That’s it.
