Let’s talk about how mainstream Western Entertainment Industry tokenizing mythological characters from mythologies that they explored such as Norse Mythology and Greek Mythology as well mythologies they can’t explore. Like,

Why do they tokenized mythological characters from mythologies that come from European countries?

Why can’t they explore African Mythology, Latin American Mythology, Hindu Mythology, Slavic Mythology, Jewish Mythology, Christian Mythology, and other mythologies that the Mainstream Western Entertainment Industry couldn’t explore instead of tokenizing character from mythologies that they already explored?

I’ve always had an interest in Greek Mythology (I’m going to blame Disney’s version of ‘Hercules’ for that😂) and I’m going to dread how Disney will handle the live-action remake of ‘Hercules’ considering what they’ve been currently doing. I’d like to think that it’s going to be the only one of their up and coming remakes that might have potential because of the Russo Brothers directing it but I’m not getting my hopes up too high. What a pity as it’s my favourite Disney film but I should know better by now🙄.
