I saw The Empire Strikes Back more than 80 times in the theater in 1981. Then another five times in the theater for Special Edition in the 90s.

I don’t think that anything else comes anywhere close to that. Not any of the other Star Wars films, even.

80+ times in theaters?!?!?! I think that’s a world record

Lord of the Rings is my happy place

I can quote nearly verbatim, every line of dialogue, in order, of the extended editions

It’s just a darn good trilogy. No politics, no social identity, no wokeness. Just fantastic storytelling.

(…even if they did leave out Tom Bombadil lol)

Honestly, the first thing that comes to mind is probably Toy Story 2. There is so much I remember from that film, and I would say I may have seen it more than 50 times in my life. And the best part is, it does not get worse the more I watch it. Always as good as the last time.

I wish it wasn’t Home Alone 1 and 2…but it’s Home Alone 1 and 2. Mostly because as a child, those films were replayed constantly whether on vhs or cable.

Of my own volition: The Godfather, Back to the Future 1 and 2, Star Wars A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, and The Phantom Menace, The Dark Knight, and this one is funny but Batman Forever lol.

Oh yeah and my dad being Egyptian liked to play Brendan Fraser’s The Mummy and The Mummy Returns over and over. I wasn’t allowed to watch horror but somehow The Mummy was okay because it had Egyptian humor in it. (Cue Palpatine: “Ironic.”)

Brendan Fraser’s The Mummy and The Mummy Returns over and over.

Those movies are fun to watch.

If I was being honest…probably Jurassic Park beside the iconic lines and the sudden scares…there’s just something about the film that has a Frankenstein gone wrong scenario when greed and ego are the driving forces behind a supposed theme park project. The script writing was great back then compared to now.

Jurassic Park and Back to the Future…(did I mention that already? Well mentioning it again.) Dude Back to the Future 1 and 2 are like top 5 all time favorite movies next to ESB and Matrix. Omg…I feel compulsively impulsive to watch them right now :D Back to the Future 3 is alright but it drags on a bit too much. It’s not a great western and tries to do a little too much but it’s still loved by me.

Oh this is gonna sound funny but my favorite character in Back to the Future is the dad. He reminds me of my dad…except my dad was super confident. Too confident…I realize that sounds like the polar opposite lol but he made me laugh like Marty’s dad does. Also he kinda looked like him.

I watch the Princess Bride whenever I’m sick.

Christmas is always Christmas Vacation and Die Hard.

I love Army of Darkness for a cheer me up.

Of course original trilogy Star Wars and most Marvel movies are very rewatchable… along with Hot Fuzz,  Blazing Saddles,  Top Secret and Clue!

As a kid; Lost Boys, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Goonies, ET, Star Wars (1-3), LOTR (cartoon), Flash Gordon

As a grown up i guess Blade Runner, The Thing, Alien, Star Wars ESB… LOTR is getting there too.

Every time I have anosmia I break out Star Trek The Motion Picture. If I’m going to fall asleep I do in the first 30 minutes of that movie. If not I’m entertained after the first 30 minutes.
