Reviving this thread to talk about how desperately we need The Bad Batch to come out to make us forget about The High Republic and the toxic marketing campaign surrounding it. Any word on a release date?

The new Disney + show Star Wars: The Bad Batch looks very promising as a continuation of The Clone Wars series.

I really like The Bad Batch and The Siege of Mandalore arcs in the season 7 of The Clone Wars, the Martez sisters arc not so much.

I guess that Kathleen Kenedy would like to make a show about the Martez sisters, with lots of feminist propaganda included, but we all know that SJW characters don’t sell much merchandise.

At this point, does it matter?

The SJW/Cancel Culture is now going after Darson now that they know they can force Disney to bend the knee (and got Gina fired).

KK is doing everything within her limited power to sabotage anything that is not politically motivated/has an agenda to it.

The customer$/fan$ are always right.

KK is clueless and a liar.

Promised to “respect George’s legacy”, then shits all over it.

No source material, no plan, no talent.

I want to watch but until KK “retires” or they apologies to Gina (because after what they did she won’t come back unless Favero is in charge). Disney needs to punished for what they did.

I don’t care about anything Star Wars related that involves disney. Star Wars is only episodes 1-6, what George Lucas did, everything else is gutter trash.

Watched Bat Batch ep 1, and it’s cool AF 🤩 Picked up minutes before order 66, as the Bad Batch’s on a mission with Kanan (this series is gonna tie in with Rebels 😁), awww, little Kanan’s adorable… and then order 66 happens 😿 And the clones go back to Kamino, and there’s a food fight! Yes, a food fight 🤣🤣🤣 Ok i won’t spoil anything else 😁

5th episode of Bad Batch gives a backstory and name to the rancor from Return Of The Jedi! Damn it! I already feel bad for the poor rancor every time i watch that scene, and now 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Muchi 😭😭😭

I skim thru Bad Batch. It’s not bad. I’ll get more into it at some point. Disney really needs to pay more writers. I need to check out some books. Lately, I’ve just been more into Dune.
