Tens of thousands of health-care workers in New York are likely to have refused a coronavirus vaccine before a state requirement went into effect on Monday, serving as a preview of resistance that the Biden administration’s vaccine requirements will face on a bigger scale in coming weeks.
It was all planned.. (cough cough) badly executed.
Resistance to the coronavirus vaccines means large numbers of health-care workers could face dismissals or unpaid leaves of absence in the state, exacerbating an already existing labor shortage in the critical world of medical care during the pandemic.
It all could have been prevented if you removed the mandates. Problem solved!
“I hereby do declare a Statewide disaster emergency for the entire state of New York,” she wrote in the order. The order also said “there is an immediate and critical need to supplement staffing.”
But you have the trained staff? If only you will keep using them!
Even in New York … the mandates have caused major headaches. According to data from the state, about 84 percent of its 450,000 health-care workers were vaccinated as of last Wednesday, leaving some 70,000 unvaccinated.
And you expect to replace 70,000 fully trained and dedicated people over night?
This is how out of touch to reality those bureaucrats are, and they are making things worse and everyone who needs to attention of fully trained medical professionals are the losers.
So when I hear people complaining those fully trained medical professionals are putting their lives at risk, you forget that they have been putting THEIR LIVES AT RISK every single day. The selfishness of those complaining is off the charts! Next they will be complaining all fully trained medical profession needs to be in hazmat suits at all times because they are seeing and having to deal with SICK PEOPLE all day long… including your sorry ASS!

It’s almost like people think they are playing tic-tac-toe when they are really playing chess, and they wonder why the moves they make keep not working for them.

A New York county is relocating autopsies to another hospital after its chief medical examiner reportedly refused to get vaccinated against COVID.
Just another sign of things to come.
Rensselaer County officials said on Friday that Dr. Michael Sikirica rejected the vaccine, which is forcing the county to move the human bodies to a different hospital than the one normally use, the Times Union reported.
Officials, prosecutors, and police officers will now have to navigate their way to Glens Falls Hospital, about 50 miles away, instead of the much closer Albany Medical Center.
Another side-effect of the mandate.

It only seems crazy because most people maintain the now insane belief that politicians are doing things for the people. Well sure, if that’s what you think then yes it does seem stupid and crazy. But if you understand they are doing for themselves and their own masters then it all pretty much makes sense to the point of being very predictable.

The Quebec order of nurses (OIIQ) announced Monday that members who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 will have their permits to practice suspended as of Friday.
This is happening in the province of Quebec in CANADA.
The decision comes only a few days ahead of the Oct. 15 province’s deadline, after which unvaccinated employees in the health sector face suspension without pay.
Something similar to what we can expect in the US, and places like NY.
Luc Mathieu, president of the order, told the suspension of members will remain in effect until they can provide proof they have been adequately vaccinated.
So you are blackmailing nurses to get the jab or they CANNOT work as a nurse within your jurisdiction.
There was concern that some front-line health-care workers would try to take jobs in the private sector where they wouldn’t have direct interaction with patients, rather than get vaccinated.
So by having the Quebec order of nurses (OIIQ) doing the dirty work of the government, you are also taking away them being about to work in the private sector in your jurisdiction.
The OIIQ now joins the Collège des médecins, Quebec’s doctors’ order, which had already announced it would suspend the right to practice medicine of any member who refuses to be vaccinated.
And did they think of the consequences of so many no longer being employed in health care?
Many worry how Quebec’s health network will be able to cope with the loss of any more nurses, when many hospitals are already facing acute staff shortages.
The government recently announced $1 billion to seduce nurses to stay in a network that is missing more than 4,000 of them.
So many HAD returned during the early days of the pandemic, but with the stress, long hours, no vacations, etc. so many have left and now so many more will be forced to leave because of these mandates when they are needed most.
You think $1 Billion will create new grads just like that? ! ?
These are people we are taking about.
Guess the US will be feeling this self-made crisis soon.

New York City is gearing up for a possible crisis next week after more than 26,000 municipal workers missed Friday’s mandated vaccine deadline and will be sent home without pay, threatening the service capacity of fire fighters, police and other first responders.
A crisis of their own making.
New data released by the city found that while vaccination rates among the city’s police officers, firefighters, garbage collectors and other municipal workers rose by at least 7 percent on Friday, only 83 percent of them were unvaccinated by 8 p.m. City workers had until 5 p.m. Friday to get at least one jab and claim a $500 bonus, or otherwise be sent home without pay starting Monday.
What is the breakdown?
According to the data,
the NYPD’s vaccination rate … 84 percent…
the fire department’s rate … 77 percent…
the sanitation department … 77 percent…
What does this mean?
As a result, the fire department said it may be forced to close up to 20 percent of its companies and have up to 20 percent fewer ambulances in service, while also changing schedules, canceling vacations …
And;
…the sanitation department will move from their usual 8-hour shifts to 12-hour shifts, and begin working Sundays to ensure trash doesn’t pile up across the five boroughs.
Alot of overtime pay while thousands of qualified people will be sent home. Glad the city has so much MONEY to burn.
We have the dem’s created crisis at the border, and we are getting the dems created crisis in essential services, putting people’s lives and livelihoods at stake.
A “disaster emergency” it sure is!

More than 2,000 New York City firefighters have taken medical leave in the past week as unvaccinated municipal workers face the start of sanctions Monday.
I wonder why that would be?
Fire Commissioner Daniel A. Nigro suggested in a statement Sunday that firefighters who participated in the apparent sickout were neglecting their oaths, which commit them to “faithfully discharge the duties” of their jobs. Those who do not meet the vaccination requirement have been threatened with unpaid leave starting Monday.
Oh now I get it. Paid medical leave, or unpaid/threat of termination.
“Irresponsible bogus sick leave by some of our members is creating a danger for New Yorkers and their fellow Firefighters,” Nigro said. “They need to return to work or risk the consequences of their actions.”
Either way, they will be forced off the job. So you will be short-staffed wither way!

9,000 NYC workers on unpaid leave for not complying with vaccine requirement.
The number of city employees on leave appears to be less than 3% of the municipal workforce. About 12,000 other employees, meanwhile, have applied for a religious or medical exemption, and can continue to work at least until their case is decided, de Blasio has said.
And from another source I have read, most exemptions will be denied, so you can add another 12K to the already 9K out of the job.
