        There is so much grasping at straws in that article, especially at the point where it tries to claim that the prequels repeat the OT’s beats, that it’s genuinely mind-numbing.

        It does clearly point to how it’s impossible to elevate the sequels (TLJ especially) on their own merits, you have to compare them to something else to have nice things to say about them.
