This anime illustrates perfectly why we should never become over-reliant on technology

In a seemingly peaceful world, humans now live their daily lives surrounded by A.I., their character judged by the Sybil System and their future chosen for them accordingly, no stress, no worries, no fears, but at what cost does this utopia of a world come at? Are you willing to give up your freedom for security?

I’ve not watched the show but the premise sounds pretty interesting – It sounds like a criticism of utopianism: Use technology to try and prevent crimes, but of course such technology will be imperfect and prone to misuse, creating more problems than it solves.

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, as the saying goes.

I was gonna go off on another political tangent about society, technology and criminality, but fuck it, I’m tired. So, here, return to monke:
