What are some of the games that have gotten you through this rough year? Some of the games that I have played during this year have been

1.Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door

2.Black Mesa

3.Doom Eternal and the Ancient Gods DLC

4.Animal Crossing (My gf plays this way more than I do clocking in at 600 hours)

5.Halo MCC on Steam

7.Mario Kart lots and LOTS of Mario Kart

Well, the first portion of the quarantine I was doing a full rewrite of a book…that took me four months from April to July, and in that time I only played three games:

Stellaris

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

.hack Last Recode

After I finished the book I fulfilled a promise to some guildmates to try WoW since we were not in another MMO, and that was mostly boring….which will be repeated next week when I give it one more month…which I don’t particularly have much faith in.

Then I did a couple hundred hours in Crusader Kings III.

Then I went back and did more Stellaris, going mod crazy with it in the process.

Recently I finished the main game of AC: Odyssey (Platinum Trophy, baby), and today I’ve cracked open one of my Xmas presents Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition.

Never was much for holiday events in MMOs.

I have dedicated people who do events, get the items/emotes, and then proceed to use them on me until I freak out and rage at them to leave me alone.

Got damned snowballs in SWTOR….

Funny you should mention that – ESO has “mudballs” for the Wood Elf quest during New Life and it can get irritating as it sounds.

A few years ago when they first introduced the event it was so bad ZeniMax actually temporarily banned some players who were doing it far too excessively. The resulting salt was pretty funny, though.

“Why am I being suspended from the game?! All I did was constantly harass other players outside the parameters of the quest.”
