I used to go every year, then the crash in 2011 happened and the fire kind of died. Ive been in reno each year for the event but only driven to the races themselves three years since.
Ive been so many times Im no longer excited by the acrobatic teams like the thunderbirds or the blue angels.
Ive seen them so many times I can almost narrate the shows. The racing especially the WW2 warplains which are the “unlimited” tier are great. Nothing quite like seeing a 75 year old airframe designed to do 400MPH screaming long a 8 mile track at 480 miles an hour.
