blasted for not getting political. As with all else, I’m only into what people are saying. I have very little interest in Hollywood or even comics anymore.
He speculates Venom is bashed to try and prop up Bond. It seems like all these films now do “outrage marketing” to a certain extent. I am not really interested in it anymore. Woody Harrelson is bad casting and, for various reasons, I avoid his movies from now on. Also, Michelle Williams is another creepy weirdo. Abortion is not my issue, I do not care about it at all, but she used it in a weird way to virtue signal. This is bizarre human behavior, or should I say, sub-human.

I still like listening to the fans and, if you want, by all means, go see it, but it’s not for me.

One thing that I’ve noticed over the last couple of years is that if it looks like a film that isn’t woke or has little to no woke stuff in, the Twitter mob always try and ruin it for other people by putting stuff like that out there. I would’ve thought that if Venom 2 was going to be woke we would’ve heard about it a long time ago. Tom and Andy don’t strike me as woke people and I do remember reading that the main reason why Hardy doesn’t want to be a part of the MCU (despite Holland’s constant pestering) is because of the current direction it’s going in. I don’t blame him if that’s the case. I’m still going to watch Venom 2 as I’m going to watch the Venom-verse from now on as that has little to no woke nonsense in which is fine by me.

I think people like that reporter guy who twisted Andy’s words like that are doing it out of spite because they know that films like this will do BETTER than their woke rubbish.

Venom 2 is BAD and The Best Marvel Movie This Year

    Nerdrotic

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is not a very well put together film that repeats a lot from it’s predecessor. Yet it is still better than anything The MCU has put into theaters this year so far and it’s box office performance proves that. Better to be a dumb, fun superhero (or antihero) film over a preachy, pretentious superhero film.

    Nerdrotics review is spot on….

But I still enjoy the Sony venom series. Venom is one of my favorite characters next to spiderman, and the end credits made me happy. I agree…this ain’t the best movie you’re going to find, but it ain’t woke! Man…can you believe that’s the criteria for movies in this day and age.

As I say all the time…the movie entertained me. I saw venom on the screen, I saw carnage on the screen…I saw shriek on the screen…meh. And the symbiote fight was decent, I did not for see the ending though…i wonder how they’ll work around that. That’s probably a Dr. Strange problem “nudge, nudge”.

I liked the movie, I’m looking foreward to venom 3, as long as Sony holds the reigns and not the MCU.

      I love Venom 😍🕷

Watched it today and it was so much fun! Much prefered it to the first one, faster pace, great action scenes, and Venom has pet chickens 🐔🐔 I will say i don’t agree with what Tuggs says about the villains not being sympathetic, i felt quite bad for them, Clatus’s backstory isn’t explored in so much depth but it’s still pretty tragic, it doesn’t in any way excuse his behavior and he still got what he deserved in the end

Woody Harrelson is bad casting and, for various reasons, I avoid his movies from now on. Also, Michelle Williams is another creepy weirdo

      @comicsgate
, curious as to what the various reasons are that you avoid Woody’s movies i personally thought he did a great job playing Carnage and have enjoyed quite a few of his other movies too, Michelle i don’t like at all, she’s a creep who can’t act

He speculates Venom is bashed to try and prop up Bond

Btw, i also watched No Time To Die, and guess what? The James Bond ticket cost more than the Venom ticket 🤣🤣 So when you look at box office numbers and are trying to figure out how many people went to watch the movie, just keep in mind that not all tickets are equel $$$

@DigiCat I am GLAD that you liked the movie!! Anything that a person can relax and have fun to, and movies are fairly harmless, I guess.

I watch a lot of movies. There is a lot of anger from the film industry towards superheroes right now, but it is their own fault. For years, we got nothing but gangster movies and filth and smut and I watched it all unfortunately, because I was conditioned to think movies were important. Superheroes are better content that the competition.

The reason that I do NOT like Woody Harrelson and will no longer watch him is People v. Larry Flynt and Natural Born Killers. Both films I saw with either friends or family, both movies were my call and both movies were very embarrassing and uncomfortable. It was the opposite of fun to me. It made me ashamed. I learned my lesson. Stay away from that guy.
