So, with Gaiman’s, let’s say, antagonistic comments regarding fans. I don’t see Sandman being a success without it’s core fans. Let’s be honest, I doubt normies will find a lot to love about Sandman. It’s far from being an action packed comic book. Sandman doesn’t throw punches. It’s a much more cerebral journey, and that’s why its long time fans love it. I don’t know, I just think for Gaiman to come out swinging at his long time fans is a mistake. The fans would be the ones that will make or break this show. I doubt that normies will flock to it. I’m sure critics will love it, but the fans, probably not so much. Not a classy, or smart move for Gaiman. Thoughts?

    For sure.

The thing is… it’s netflix… Many people just binge watch whatever new stuff netflix has …

For now, I’m not interested. Gaiman looks like an asshole. And the pronouns marketing poster kinda threw me off… maybe it’s gonna be another woke shitfest.

But… when the trailer comes, if it’s cool, I might give it a shot.

It’s out now. Your comments were accurate. There does not seem to be any buzz.
And…I’m out. Trash. Too slow. Too perverted. Will never be interested in it again.

I gave up on Gaiman’s work long ago.  I tried to read his work three separate times. Each night after I read it, I had horrific, demon-filled hellish nightmares.  Very strange.  Ever since then, I refuse to give his work another chance

Appreciate you sharing that. I’ve always admired people who come to their own life decisions and know intuitively, what should be avoided. I didn’t know that they gender-swapped and race-swapped characters. They called the girl “Constantine” and my mind never made the connection that the girl character was supposed to be John Constantine. I never thought of her as Constantine. My favorite character was The Raven. I made it to episode 5, the diner episode, and when the guy cook said something about the lady’s son, I immediately turned it off and will never again re-visit anything to do with Gaiman. These Groomers in Hollywood never learn and never stop trying to make moves on kids. That is who they are. It’s something that fans need to confront within themselves. It’s something I’ll never accept.

5min and I turned it off … it’s not for me. it’s a show for the pronouns community.
