How many Bethesda titles do you think we will see released for next gen before the gen after launches? Not including Skyrim or any other remasters, im sick of remaster tbh..

They recently stated that Elder Scrolls is still some time off. It will be after Starfield. Do we have a release date for Starfield yet? Im thinking 2022? If generations are expected to last 7 years, will a game from the other RPG franchises even launch before the gen after next is here? Starfield ’22? How long for the others?

I presume they have started pre-production for Elder Scrolls, possibly Fallout too. And they will likely be working on the other franchises such as Doom, (i’d rather have a new Quake game personally), maybe Wolfenstein or Prey, what else? Who knows, its all speculation at this point. They said the RPG games take a very long time to develop? Which i respect and dont want them rushed. What i’d like to see is Microsoft expand the Bethesda studios and development teams so we can get a new game from each of these games next gen. But i dont see that happening if they are all available on Gamepass from day 1 as it will be very difficult for them to make any profit from them. Sure, Microsoft can afford to lose money here and there, but they are a business and aren’t just going to hemorrhage money either…

Any thoughts? How many and what games do you think we will see from Bethesda for next gen before the gen after next arrives in potentially 7 years?

Tood Howard doesn’t sleep: He waits.

        Don’t worry, it’s fake:

Anyway, I’m not sure what to expect beyond Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI. Todd wants ES6 to have an even longer lifespan than Skyrim so that might end being his last ES game. ES7 will very likely not come out on the upcoming console generation. But we’re talking the distant future, there.

As for other IP’s, well, I haven’t played DOOM Eternal yet, but the reboot overall has been very successful. I imagine ID Software will likely make a third game to cap off the DOOM Slayer’s story arc.
