Its just a matter of preference
However you cannot say Subbed anime is ovjectively better because “its from Japan therefore its better” not only is that ignorant, you wouldn’t be able to distinguish between Good and Bad Japanese voice acting unless you grew up in Japan and learned the language. We have no idea how the sentences are structured, if they use the same vowels, how honorifics are supposed to be used in certain contexts, and many other things.
The reason why have this discussion because a gigantic mojority that have this conversation comes from English speaking Americans. We know how words are supposed be to said, how sentences are supposed to be pronounced, hows phrase are supposed to be enunciated, and when acting is good or bad.
Unless you go out of your way to learn Japanese, its customs, what I’ve listed, and other things you really shouldn’t say subbed Anime is objectively better. And Guess what some things are lost in translation when anime get subbed as well.
At the end of the day non-Japanese speaking fans just prefer watching anime in whatever way they want.
For me I watch anime dubbed unless an anime does not have one, and if one is subbed-only and it gets a dub later ill rewatch it dubbed
