Geeks + Gamers › Forums › Entertainment › Comics › Superman Gets R*ped in Prison: What Were They Thinking?!!
If you’ve been on Twitter or Reddit lately, you’ve probably seen this Superman story get mentioned by a lot of people, and it’s beyond disgusting. In this comic, titled Superman Red and Blue, Superman talks about the time he was imprisoned by Colonel Koslov, in a story originating from World’s Finest #192-193 back in 1970. However, there were changes made to the story. Originally, Superman was imprisoned alongside Batman for a few days, before tricking the Colonel and escaping. In this new version, Superman was captured alone and for a total of eight months. But perhaps the most disturbing change made in this comic was this:
That’s right. Superman, the ultimate superhero, the man who fights for truth, justice and the American way, said that “Every day, for eight months, they… they did things to me.” He was violated in prison, SUPERMAN was violated in prison. This just shows how modern DC treats their iconic characters, by degrading them whilst propping up their more “diverse” counterparts. I can just imagine a conversation about this between him and his son Jonathan. “Dad, while you’ve been getting r*ped in Soviet Russia, I’ve been busy protesting climate change with my boyfriend. Sorry I couldn’t help.” I know that these two events likely happened in different time periods and different realities, I’m just trying to make a point here. My god, this is just as bad, if not worse than how Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson treated Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi. That’s it, I’m boycotting any material that DC Comics prints until they get rid of the people who write this sh*t. Now excuse me while I invest more of my time and money into manga.
no one buys their shit anymore… this is just for twitter stuff.
back issues + manga + indie comics. that’s it.
Once the comics do it, the door is opened for all media to do it.
Superman and Lois‘s actor is nervously sweating right now thinking about having his ticket to the Liminal Order punched.
Saving Superman
DC Comics has plumbed new depths hitherto unimagined with the prison rape of Superman:
I have no idea what Daniel Cherry was brought in to do at DC but this is what he has done.
And no Superman’s prison rape was not some Elseworlds thing, it was the main timeline.
What needs to be remembered here is that the Discovery is taking over Warner in mid-2022. Which means no one is watching what the Wokeites are doing. Or rather no one cares, because they are all wondering who is going to survive the next round of merger purge….
Ultimately Warner Brothers doesn’t care because the DC heroes can’t be sold at this point. Or at least no one will buy them.
In eleven years, Superman, Lois Lane, Metropolis and the Daily Planet all go into the Public Domain. In a little over ten years anybody can write a Superman comic book and sell it.* Batman becomes public property that same year. Three years later Wonder Woman joins them. Flash, Green Lantern, Sandman, Doctor Fate, and Hawkman would have already been in Public Domain for a year.
That’s it for the Justice League.
Eleven years… imagine where Arktoons is going to be in eleven years. And imagine what an Arkhaven Superman might look like. It sounds like a long way off, but then, time flies when you’re having fun. Let’s do this.
I’m pretty sure whoever wrote the original story back in 1970 is probably spinning in their grave at this. Disgusting.
Considering Disney is lobbying to get copyrights extended yet again for the IP’s they own that are in a year or two to become public domain, this might also effect when such long-lived comic IP’s become public domain too.
And this is sodomizing of iconic characters is a disgrace, and one reason the DC titles I collect is way down.
There is too much pure garbage in western comics.
I knew current Disney were going to try and throw a fit at the idea of “loosing” Mickey Mouse in a few years. This is going to be a VERY interesting outcome.
@DragonLady not just that.
It’s important to note a few important legal distinctions. Beginning in 2022, Disney won’t be able to sue anyone that uses A.A. Milne’s original Winnie-the-Pooh stories as inspiration, adapting the fictional bear for new projects or original creative works. The original line drawings from the book, penned by E.H. Shepard, will also be fair game.
I posted a topic on this:
DISNEY IP’S WILL SOON START TO BECOME PUBLIC DOMAIN, UNLESS…
As for DC, that is why over the last year they have been changing so many of their characters.
They are getting rid of Clark Kent/Superman in favor of his now gay son.
They are getting rid of Arthur Curry/Aquaman in favor of… a new younger aqua-person?
They are wanting to get rid of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in favor of Yara Flor.
etc.
This was all part of DC Comics 5G-future state.
Getting ahead of the IP’s expiring by giving us inferior replacement garbage.
GRACE RANDOLPH BLOWS…the lid off the new DCEU! Bye Bye SNYDERVERSE! Here come the Justice Ladies!

DC Comics Is Done Forever
By The Dark Herald Uncategorized 11 CommentsI have no idea what Daniel Cherry was brought in to do at DC but this is what he has done.

DC comics was well on track to being shut down and outsourced when Ma Bell finally screamed, “fuck it!” And spun off Warner Brothers. Which granted DC Comics a temporary stay of well-deserved execution. Most of the people who knew anything about comic books had already been let go.
Daniel Cherry was brought in from Activision to be the brand manager. He is very much a prog Wokeite and the only reason I can think of for hiring him is to deliberately brand damage DC Comics so badly that no one will think twice about shuttering the house that Superman and Batman built.
Anyway, he’s the guy who hired a TV crime writer named John Ridley and turned Clark Kent over to him. Ridley won an Oscar for writing 12 Years a Slave which is why the Baizou like to pretend they’ve heard of him or seen his movie.
So far as Cherry and Ridely are concerned, It’s all part of the Left Spinning Deathroll. There is absolutely nothing they can do to save DC Comics. More people will steal the next issue of Demon Slayer than will buy the entire run of Daniel Ridley’s Superman prison bitch slashfic. American comic books exist soley as a corporate charity at this point. And the new entity of Warner Brothers Discovery is going to be heavily in debt and cash strapped. They are all going to lose their jobs BUT if they can reasonably claim they are out of work because they just went too far to the Left, then they will be heroes of the Revolution and won’t be out of work for long.
Ultimately Warner Brothers doesn’t care because the DC heroes can’t be sold at this point. Or at least no one will buy them.

That’s it for the Justice League.
Aquaman is safe though. Warner Brother will still own Aquaman.
Okay, I’m done here.
*Learn about trademark law before you try it.
UPDATE: It would appear DC Comics could stand to learn a thing or two about trademarks. “Truth, Justice, and the American Way” slipped into the public domain when their lawyers weren’t looking. This is the real reason they switched to “Truth, Justice and a Better Tomorrow.”
Jan 5 (Reuters) – AT&T Inc’s (T.N) WarnerMedia and ViacomCBS Inc are exploring a possible sale of a significant stake or all of the CW Network, which they jointly own, the Wall Street Journal reported late on Wednesday, citing people close to the talks.
Nexstar Media Group Inc (NXST.O) is among the suitors, according to the report.
The report said an agreement could be reached soon, though the talks could still fall apart. There are other interested parties as well, but the discussions with Nexstar are most advanced, it added.
The details of the other parties involved and the exact time by when the deal could be reached was not known immediately, according to the report.
AT&T, ViacomCBS, CW Network, and Nexstar Media did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
The most prevalent scenario is Nexstar taking a controlling stake in CW, with CBS and WarnerMedia remaining as minority owners and receiving commitments to be the primary program suppliers for the network, the report said.
CBS and WarnerMedia have been exploring strategic options for the CW Network for several months, it added, quoting some people involved in the talks.
CW Network with Warner Bros has made popular shows including DC Comics’ “Arrow” and its spinoff “The Flash”. “Riverdale” is also among the highest grossing series of the network.
Even the execs know it’s done at this point. Pack it up.
They also said CW Network never made money.
Even with all this “popular shows”.
And I don’t recall hearing anywhere if the rights to make those IP’s shows are included in any deal or not.
So while the IP still have tremendous value, the comics and shows are not as valuable.
<p style=”text-align: center;”>Some people say the original iconic characters like Clark Kent,Bruce Wayne will be replaced and they rant all day I will say they are not being replaced the new characters are keeping their legacy alive keeping them burning.</p>
Sexuality of iconic characters or characters doesn’t matter as long as the story is good being raped this annoyed me alot still to-date.
Clark Kent isn’t living up to his name “superman.”Anyone can beat superman says DC comics.Load of crap.
And most stories have been CRAP for a decade, and it has only been getting worse.
Then add the artwork (interior and exterior) and you get falling sales.
This is one reason why Chief Executive Officer and President of Warner Bros. Discovery David Zaslav is going over everything related to DC, from its TV shows, to its movies, to its comics.
The only person I know who likes any of the new 5G/Future State characters is a worker at my main comics book store.
Those I know who are comic collectors/read comics, HATE those characters and the desecration of the iconic characters that made the company.
I have been spending more on back issues (from 70’s & 80″ & 90’s) than I do on current ones, because the current ones are SH!T.
My pullbox is a fraction of what it once was because the quality of the books.
I do hope Zaslav fixes the woke/sjw infestation at DC, and returns to making family friendly/quality products again for the DC IP.
