@Loken
I have been vaccinated for many things, most my age were, those vaccines had a lot of trials, testing and years to prove themselves reliable and safe..
But the biggest concern I have for this one is these words:
“We’re still learning”
and
“We’re still learning how long COVID-19 vaccines can protect people.”
Those words to me do not sound like they know for sure anything, let alone if this is a vaccine, and its backed up by their own guidance for vaccinated people.
“For now, fully vaccinated people should continue to:
Take precautions in public like wearing a well-fitted mask and physical distancing
Wear masks, practice physical distancing, and adhere to other prevention measures when visiting with unvaccinated people who are at increased risk for severe COVID-19 disease or who have an unvaccinated household member who is at increased risk for severe COVID-19 disease
Wear masks, maintain physical distance, and practice other prevention measures when visiting with unvaccinated people from multiple households
Avoid medium- and large-sized in-person gatherings
Get tested if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
Follow guidance issued by individual employers
Follow CDC and health department travel requirements and recommendations”
If you have a true and effective vaccine then all that is not needed now is it?
We have effective vaccines for other things and they have no “precautions” of contact with possible people who are infected to accompany them. So for me this is NOT a vaccine until proven as effective as for instance Polio, Rubella, Measles, Mumps and Diphtheria. This is a at best a shot for the seasonal flu and we know its effectiveness is not 100% nor is this by the reports of a Doctor a couple weeks ago who died and was fully vaccinated.
