Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens missed this list by only two years but they get an honorable mention because they’d otherwise top the list. Doo wop and classic rock’n’roll are some of my favorite genres but I also like swing when I’m in a certain mood and some select jazz. I can’t stand the blues or anything with the harmonica. My taste in music goes back to even earlier years of the old west piano music and some classical to a lesser extent.
